We had a wonderful time with tour guide Ahmed and driver Khaled. We learnt a lot, had some laughs and felt like valued clients. The tour wasn't rushed and included free time to explore in the late afternoon and evening. We always felt safe, despite the chaotic traffic in Alexandria! The only down side was that The Plaza Hotel in Alexandria was rather tired and in need of much maintenance. However, the breakfast was good. Definitely not 4 star as they professed it to be. Thank you, Ahmed and Khaled for your care - we greatly enjoyed our time with you.
My wife had long wanted to visit the El Alamein war cemetery where her Uncle Eric rested, having fallen in WW11. We could not have chosen more compassionate and understanding friends to share this journey with us than Ahmed and Khaled. The remainder of the tour to 'Alex' was equally fulfilling. A truly magical and memorable trip! Thank you so much Ahmed and Khaled.
