Gorgeous topography. A good find within UAE. Wouldn’t think there were salt flats here in the uae. Exciting adventurous drive for the last 2 km till you get there

Many thanks for this highly original, unexpected outing so close to Abu Dhabi, thanks a lot to Shihab who was attentive, flexible and very helpful. The sites of fossilized dunes, magnificent at sunset, the salt Lake, so surprising in the desert, and the Wetland Reserve with its flamingos enchanted us!

The wetlands being closed even though I booked the trip the day before based on that. Viator telling me it was my own fault and should have known even though it’s my first time in Abu Dhabi. Totally rude and unacceptable response when I messaged them immediately afterwards. Simply telling me it was my own fault. The guide was absolutely useless and didn’t give any information.
