Laraunt is an Energizer Bunny Rabbit!

Laraunt is the tour guide and he knows the area extremely well. He is a former chef and he brings several of his home made dishes for you to taste. If you're expecting to go to several breakfast restaurants or taste local items you'll only get a small sampling of that. Laraunt is a big and bright personality and he'll show you parts of Aix-en-Provence that you wouldn't normally see. But make sure you ask him to show you what you want to show or tell you. Last but not least, I would recommend you compare pricing with other private and group tours. You'll be glad you did!

Laurent in Provence- magnifique!

Laurent is an exceptional tour guide! The best we have had on our honeymoon. He knew everyone everywhere we went and we got to try so many different things, from wine to macarons, to cold cuts and cheeses and olive oil! Simply amazing. He also shared so much knowledge with us about Provence and France in general. He is very well traveled and had the best stories and examples. We got discounts going back to stores he had showed us after the tour as well! 10/10 would recommend :)

Not as advertised,...

Not as advertised, switched to a different tour without giving any context. Food was in a shared charafe vs advertised photos

Operator response

I told you I couldn't make the transfer from Marseille to Aix 45mn one way because I have not transportation, the only way to make a Food tour is to have one in Marseille, I do tastings along the way , we make stops in the front of famous buildings, open air market, shops, squares ,I used to be chef/restaurant owner that's why I offer my "homemade" provencal specialities. also one lady was too tired to walk but you booked for a walking tour!... then you didn't want to try specialities..

An amazing Provence experience

Our Provence visit would not have been as fulfilling if we had not taken the assistance of Monsieur Laurent of Provence Amazing tours . Full of information , humour and willingness to ensure no corner of the beautiful region is left unexplored. Thank you for the French lessons as well and the recommendations for eateries with stunning views. An unforgettable experience indeed . Au revoir !

Aix-en-Provence and Plateau de Valensole

We had an amazing time visiting Provence with Laurent. He was very knowledgeable and informative, sharing history and trivia along the way. He was also flexible and adapted our extended tour to fit our interests, including a stop at Ridley Scott’s winery in the Luberon Valley. We’ve done many tours around the globe and would highly recommend Provence Amazing Tours!

Great family experience for four

About half of the food on this tour is home made by Laurent, who used to be a professional chef before he gave it up to run tours. And oh my gosh was it amazing! I don't even like olives, but I loved the olives he served us.

Loved this tour!

We loved our tour with Laurent!! Even though it was pouring rain most of the day, we still say this was our favorite tour of the trip. Laurent picked us up from our cruise port and right away we knew we were going to love him. He was friendly, enthusiastic & knowledgeable. He even practiced French with me. We enjoyed trying the local cuisine and he even went out of the way to find my father-in-law macaroons. We will definitely be visiting again because of Laurent. Thank you!

Very nice discovery

In the middle of the holiday season Aix is decorated with superb decorations Getting lost in the alleys parallel to the Cours Mirabeau was a pleasure for us Not to mention its Christmas market, cafe terraces, restaurants and the Mood.

Cancellation made only when called on day of tour!

We booked and paid for this on 25Apr and received a confirmation for the tour. On 27Apr when we showed up for the tour and could not find the agent, we called and were told he was double booked and so will refund us the monies. This should have been told to us earlier so we could have made other plans.

No-Show!

Booked a Food Walking Tour in Aix en Provence. Guide didn't show up. No E-Mail, no call. No response to my calls or e-mail. This just can't happen.
