- ONLY YOUR CELL PHONE IS ALLOWED ON BOARD. NO OTHER CAMERA DEVICE IS ALLOWED! Air Kauai will provide a lanyard for passengers cell phone that will be worn around their neck at all times during the flight. Passengers must keep one hand on their phone at all times while in flight. Air Kauai is not responsible if you lose your phone.
- Passengers must be 10yrs old or older to participate on the Doors Off flight. Only passengers 16 years old and older can be on an outside/edge seat.
- Weight restrictions: Any passenger exceeding 230lbs, two passenger combined over 400lbs or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 190lbs or more an additional seat must be purchased at the time of booking. Any passenger over 250lbs no matter what the combined weight is must purchase an additional seat. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers on board.
- Must wear closed toed shoes or sandals that strap to your ankles. No flip flops or slides.
- No hats, bags, sunglasses or any loose items allowed. Nothing in your pockets. We provide goggles that you are required to wear. If you have prescription glasses that is fine please wear smallest pair or contacts as they must go under the goggles.
- Long hair must be tied up in a bun or braid.
- The helicopter is a shared cabin of 6 passengers and one pilot on each flight.
- Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter.

This was our favorite thing we did in Hawaii! It was stunningly beautiful - worth every penny!! And our pilot was excellent!
The guide was informative and the scenery was beautiful and I would highly recommend it.
Adam was our pilot and made the experience amazing. He is very talented and got so close to the scenery in such a gentle way. We even saw a full circle rainbow!
While I enjoyed the experience, I was disappointed to be assigned a middle seat in the back row between two strangers. Unfortunately, this made it very difficult to take photos or videos without having another passenger’s head or leg appearing in the frame.
We had a great experience from start to finish. We were a little disappointed that there were clouds and a little rain but it actually was an add. We saw rainbows and waterfalls everywhere.
Overall great experience and the views are breath taking One surprise it’s 6 passenger I didn’t expect that please do keep that in mind

All went well - nice and helpful staff, professional pilot - until midair we found out that the weather at the Napali coast is too dangerous to fly and had to turned back. Very disappointing.
Everything was perfect! Pilot was calm and competent. Helicopter seemed well maintained! All staff were great and it was a ride of a lifetime!! Unbelievable!!
