On the mountain no one should be talking or making noice because you will lose lots of energy. The stars shine in the sky and the glaciers can be seen brightly shining. The headlamps from people who are already further than you is also another beautiful thing to see when climbing the mountain. When going up the mountain there are few attractions that you see and can take your breathe away. The sense of been on the roof of Africa is great as it is the highest point in the country.
We started off under pressure that we are not going to make. We were nervous. As we gradually went up the mountain the air got thiner and thiner. When we reached the final ascent we were very tired and thought that we won’t make it but, by the encouragement from the guides and every porter that joined us to come to the summit we felt courage to go on. There was an incredible scenery and sense of achievement after we were at the summit.
