The tour was really great, the people were friendly and attentive, I especially thank the drivers and guides.
What a great day. Pick up was on time and took us to the meeting point for the coach. The coach was comfy and staff were very friendly and professional. We crossed under the Suez canal and arrived in Cairo to visit the grand museum. Tour guide was great and gave a condensed tour of all exhibits. Then we went to the bank of the Nile for an optional 40 minute trip along the river. Staff helped with photos. Then off to the Papyrus Institute where we discovered the history of Egyptian paper. After a buffet lunch we visited Giza for the main event. We opted to have a Camel trek around the pyramid site where we got dozens of great pictures. After this we went to the largest pyramid for more pictures and to touch the ancient structure. We finished this section with a visit to the Sphinx and the souvenir stalls. Final call was a perfume factory where we learnt about all of the different fragrances and their historical importance. Lots of chances to spend extra but no pressure selling at all. We paid $10pp extra for the boat trip and $10pp for the Camel trek. Well worth it. The journey there and back was slightly longer than expected but the staff managed it very well and kept guests informed throughout the day. Highly recommended.
Everything perfect, fantastic drivers and guides, fantastic experience
Long day, but worth it, lots packed in and although there being several different languages the guide did his best to accommodate and ensure everyone had a good experience. The museum was rushed, but I didn’t mind, I was mainly there to see the pyramids.
This was an absolutely brilliant day and a proper full-day experience — we really didn’t stop from start to finish! The trip was packed with so many great activities, including visiting the Pyramids, seeing the Sphinx, exploring the Egyptian Museum, enjoying a mini cruise on the Nile, stopping for lunch, seeing how paper was made from papyrus thousands of years ago, and learning about traditional perfume making. Every part of the day was well organised and gave us something different to enjoy. The mini cruise on the Nile was a real highlight and a lovely chance to relax for a while, take in the views, and enjoy a different side of Egypt. The sightseeing was incredible, and the team really brought the history to life with their knowledge and passion. The papyrus demonstration was especially interesting — seeing how paper was made around 7,000 years ago using papyrus was fascinating and added a brilliant cultural touch to the day. The perfume-making experience was also really enjoyable and gave us another insight into Egyptian tradition. The staff were excellent throughout — friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made sure the whole day ran smoothly. A huge thank you to the whole team for making it such a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see and do as much as possible in one day.
Visit to Cairo Worth seeing, but especially in the morning due to the heat and visit the museum in the afternoon for the air conditioning
Amazing amazing amazing 😍 We loved everything about the experience! Learning so much about Cairo and Egyptian history is such an amazing opportunity, we are very thankful for everyone that helped make this day as special as it was!
