ONE-WAY TOUR! Travel the Great Eastern Drive to discover Wineglass Bay in Freycinet National Park on this one-way journey from Launceston to Hobart. For avid hikers, you’ll have up to 4 hours to explore Freycinet National Park at your own pace. Choose from an array of trails, including the iconic Wineglass Bay hike or the challenging ascent to Mt Amos. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, our knowledgeable guide will lead you on a scenic walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout. This moderate 1.5-hour return uphill hike is well worth the effort. After taking in the views, we’ll descend for a leisurely stroll around Cape Tourville Lighthouse. Enjoy a refreshing swim at Honeymoon Bay, a local favourite. To finish the day, you’ll have the opportunity to sample some of Tasmania’s freshest seafood at the Freycinet Marine Farm, including oysters, prawns, crayfish and award-winning wines (own cost). After your hotel pick up, we depart Launceston for the Freycinet National Park Please note this tour is a one-way tour that will start in Launceston and finish in Hobart.
Today's adventure begins in Launceston, where will hit the road and start the drive to Wineglass Bay, Freycinet National Park. After an hour of driving, we will make a stop at Campbell Town to stretch our legs and give you an opportunity to purchase breakfast and a hot drink.
If you prefer a more relaxed experience, our knowledgeable guide will lead you on a scenic walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout, where you’ll take in the stunning views. This moderate 40-minute hike uphill is well worth the effort. After soaking in those magnificent sights, we’ll descend for a leisurely stroll around the Cape Tourville Lighthouse, taking in the breathtaking coastal scenery.
Once you’ve worked up a sweat, it’s time for a refreshing swim at Honeymoon Bay—a local favorite. With its orange-capped granite rocks, crystal clear waters, and pristine white sands, Honeymoon Bay offers the perfect spot to refresh. After a swim, you’ll feel completely rejuvenated—and have plenty of stunning photos for your Insta feed!
Cape Tourville offers a leisurely boardwalk stroll around to the lighthouse, taking in stunning coastal scenery.
For the avid hikers, you will have flexible hiking options and you will be able to explore Freycinet National Park at your own pace for up to 4 hours, choosing from iconic trails like the Wineglass Bay hike or the challenging Mt. Amos ascent with panoramic views.
Your day will conclude in Hobart, where your guide will drop you off at selected hotels in the CBD.

Well arranged. The driver drove carefully and safe, good service. The driver guided us and walk with us every spots. He also shared with us a lot know info about each spot. We have enough time at each spot.

Long trip but felt just like an hour and a perfect way to go to Hobart from Launceston, we had a great day and Gray did his job as tour guide to the Max , we felt so comfortable and we had a great time.

Amazing trip…spectacular views of Freycinet National Park. The itinerary could be a bit clearer around the level of fitness needed for the lookout walk - as it was quite strenuous (uphill uneven steps) But overall great experience and my tour guide Sky was very informative and engaging :)

wonderful experience. excellent host. Long day with much time on the road. Seats a bit small and tight. Host very good at explanations and helping us with the hike. Enjoyed the various stops for food and potty.
