this was honestly such a cute lil experience, super chill and easy. lowkey had a hard time finding the marina at first lol but we figured it out, it’s under a restaurantt called las ijas de la tostada. the water was sooo pretty and clear, pics came out so good. our guide Antonio aka el papirrin was really nice, knew his stuff and you could tell he actually enjoys what he does. def worth it if u just want something fun n relaxed
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. He kept a lookout for any critters so the boat driver could know where to go. It was a little later in the day, got cloudy, and ended up raining so there weren’t a ton of animals or fish, unfortunately. But what we did get to see was truly amazing. The experience was awesome but I’d suggest scheduling it according to the weather as much as possible.

A turtle and some fish seen, but quite a bit of time is lost taking "Instagram" pictures for willing participants. Given the port fees, a little too pricey for what you get back.
It’s a complete scam, they send you to a place which they do not work, you show up and they don’t have you in the e system, they ask you to ask for a refund and then obviously they deny you the refund! DO NOT BUY
We booked this tour, and got a ticket and confirmation number. I got 2 small children all ready to go and excited to go on the tour. We got there on time and the guy at the desk said they did not have our reservation and that the tour was full and we couldn’t go! We paid $20 round trip taxi, 40 minutes in the taxi, and wasted our whole afternoon, when we could have done any number of other fun things. My kids were very disappointed and there wasn’t anything else to do in the area so we just had to go back to our Airbnb with grumpy kids :( If you want to do this tour, book directly with the company! I will not be booking with Viator again. How could they tell me I had a reservation and then not make the reservation for us!? That’s their whole purpose, to book your activities!
DO NOT BOOK. These people are scammers. Took a hour Uber from our resorts just to arrive and they say it’s canceled. Was even talking to someone on WhatsApp and they never mentioned anything about cancellation. Waist of time and money on Ubers! Very unprofessional
Do not under any circumstances trust these crooks! We paid $120 USD online for a clear boat tour for 6 people. We had a confirmed booking number and receipt, but when we went to the dock they refused to honor it because they claimed the booking hadn’t been “forwarded” to their computer and they refused to just take our receipt. My colleague was forced to pay the $120 a second time in addition to the expected dock fee so we would not miss our boat, and the agent on the phone assured us he would put through a refund request for the additional $120. The company refused the refund request, first claiming we were “confused” and it had only been the dock fee, but when showed receipts to prove otherwise they gave no explanation and just said “we cannot offer you a refund”. Repeated emails changed nothing. Go elsewhere, this company likes to commit fraud against their customers!
I had an amazing 1.5-hour Clear Boat Tour in Cancun! I went on the trip by myself and still had an incredible experience. The crystal-clear waters made it perfect for taking photos, and I got to see so much marine life up close—including turtles, stingrays, and pufferfish, to name a few. The hosts were fantastic—really friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain more about the area and its wildlife, which made the tour even more interesting. It felt personal and relaxed, yet full of memorable sights. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique way to explore Cancun’s waters and capture some amazing photos!
The clear boat itself was amazing. The clear Carribbean waters were on full display. There was plenty of sea creatures from turtles and rays to lionfish and pufferfish.
