9 Days Family Safari - Tanzania Northern Circuit

Description
Join us for this 9 day Private Tour. The well-established ‘Northern Circuit' safari of northern Tanzania offers some of the world’s most diverse safari experiences, consisting of National Parks, game reserves, conservation areas and private concessions. Among these are the world-famous and iconic Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, and of course their less well-known neighbours, Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park. These parks exist for one general purpose and that is to protect the amazing variety and abundance of wildlife in them, both resident and seasonal - and most of all, the world’s largest annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. Although this part of the world has become increasingly busy as a result of its reputation, it is still possible to escape the crowds and find a quiet corner if you know where to go.

Tremendous experience. Jon at Indigo was a great help, as we had several changes during the planning process. He helped arrange five locations with 2 nights at each location; Mt Meru Game Lodge, Ang'ata in Tarangire, Moyo Tented camping in Serengeti, Kirimu Migration Camp Ndutu, and finally the Farmhouse on the edge of Ngorongoro Crater Conservation area. There was one long drive (6-7 hr) from Tarangire National Park to Ndutu. Elieard was a driver-guide extraordinaire. His knowledge of the aminals and terrain allowed us to see the 'big 5', lions matings up close, and thousands of wildebeast, zebras, giraffes and gazella, followed by lions and hyneas and jackels. He also knew about 100 birds that we saw.
