26 day tour dior Sri Lanka with private transport. In one word great!!! It was a fantastic tour with a very nice guide who was also very good and safe car driver which is perhaps the most important, because the traffic is downright terrible. The standard of the hotels is mixed from quite simple to good. We also went on a safari in Willpattu we took a full day tour, don’t do that our body felt like we’d gone in a centrifuge incredibly horrible roads / trails, take a half day tour instead. Our guide Dilshan is absolutely fantastic and became a friend more than a guide.
Gibson family x 3 did a 9 day tour with Dili and we had an amazing time. He was so kind and such good fun. Dili booked all the hotels for us and we had memorable stays at the Thilanki hotel in Kandy and Wild Ella resort. He also organised an amazing train trip to Ella and a fantastic safari in Uduwalawe where his knowledge of the wildlife was superb. Dili struck the right balance between letting us do our own thing and advising us on activities. He was very flexible according to our wishes. The “Bling bus” was very comfortable and Dili drove safely. I usually use Trailfinders for tours in Asia but we all agreed that this was the best tour of all. Thank you Dili!!
