Tour locations were great except the store stops

Seeing the pyramids was amazing! The tour experience was average though. Would prefer it the communication with the operator or the activity plan was clearer. The saqqara was great, but entering Dashur pyramid wasn’t worth it, even if it’s free. Also, stopping by every stores for shopping pitfalls were a waste of time. We didn’t really need to stop by the alabaster store, for example. Also, the carriage ride to the pyramid viewpoint wasn’t included in the tour.

Made my mom’s dreams come true

My mom had it on her bucket list for years to see the pyramids in Egypt. She loved this tour. She was very happy the whole time and our duo of Mirna and Muhammad (tour guide and driver) were great. They were very polite and kind. They both have good hearts and Mirna isn’t afraid to tell the vendors when they are wrong. It was a full day tour and had great variety. As for the locations I would give a huge warning that if you aren’t an active person or have asthma or heart issues, I wouldn’t recommend going into Dashur. This is a good tour that includes many sites, I recommend choosing the lunch option, it is light with grilled meat, a variety of side dishes from salads to pastas. I would say all the shop stops that work with the tour company are a pricey but it’s a good experience to go to. And although of course they would like to make a sale, they are not pushy. Mirna Mae’s sure of that. I say it’s worth the money for the tour. You aren’t going up close or inside for all the pyramids, so if that’s what you are hoping then this isn’t for you.

Don't leave everything to the tour guide, plan it yourself !

It was not a great experience with Emo Tours due to very bad planning...For this 8 hour tour, the guide need to complete each location on time ( less talk and more exploring ! ). The best schedule is to complete Giza pyramids, Sakkara and break for lunch in Sakkara. Then continue Dahshur and finish with Memphis. Our guide got it completely wrong and we ended up having lunch at 4 pm !! ( and we started our tour at 7 am ). It was so tiring and the guide just won't listen ( I had exactly the same tour 5 years ago with Emo Tours and it was fantastic !! ). The guide was knowledgeable but pathetic on managing time !

Excellent tours, guides, and drivers

I did 3 tours total with EMO. All day pyramids, Saqarra, and Memphis tour. All day Citadel, museum, and old Cairo tour. And the evening Khan el Khalili, Cairo Tower, and el Moez street tour. And, Mahran, Mohamed, and Nour were my drivers and guides over the 3 tours. I am a solo traveling female and on every tour I felt safe, taken care of, and that it was important that I have the best experience. I was able to learn so much history and culture in each tour and so grateful for the experiences I had. EMO was great with communication and were very reliable. I have only excellent things to say about EMO, their guides and drivers, and the tours offered.

What an experience to have with the Pyramids.

Excellent day out with wonderful service and attention from Mohamed and Mohamed (driver and guide). Nothing was too much trouble and time at each site was at your pleasure. Lunch in Cairo before heading out into the countryside was great and filling. Plenty of fluid stops and pit stops. Great explanations to what we were seeing and the best way to enter the tombs, etc.

Amazing ancient culture!

Great tour, very easy to organise and super friendly, knowledgeable guide in Ahmed Essam. He knew all the best things to do at each location and we were very well looked after. Punctual and very nice car, safe driving. We took our two young kids and had a brilliant time. Detour to the papyrus shop was good, nobody was pushy, nice atmosphere. Very good lunch included.
