"My whole experience from booking my Tanzania trip to the actual safari its self was very professional with Ifude Tours Tanzania. I knew I was in good hands when my emails were responded quickly and I was provided a list of answers to my enquires with lots of information. Our driver and the guide was very friendly and professional and had great English and were able to give me information on the landscape itself, the people of Tanzania and also kept me with lots of information about animals of Tanzania in every step of the way. Miraji was very helpful on accommodating our budget and making sure we got amazing sleeping tents for both time of our trip despite heavy rains but we slept comfortably and my tent and mattress were comfortable and the food was also great. Overall, I would highly recommend doing Tanzania safari with this local owned safari company “Ifude Safaris”. The communication from the business owner throughout the whole process was really great and made me feel at ease and excited for the safari experience! The price was final and there were no extra hidden/additional costs. The safari itself was incredible - our skilled driver was knowledgeable, considerate of the animals (never crowding them), patient with us and able to answer all of our questions. The vehicle was in great condition and comfortable, as were the tents and the camping facilities. Our chef was always so positive and lovely and everything he cooked was delicious and plentiful!! Did not go hungry. Everything ran very smoothly from the airport pick up to our hotel drop off in Arusha. Had the most amazing experience!! And I loved knowing that our money was going to the right local Tanzanian company who love what they do instead of a greedy American based tour operator group that exploits the local people and doesn't use local guides or local chefs. Ifude was the complete safari experience and I absolutely cannot recommend it highly enough. Miraji was an incredible host who organised everything for us from the get go, picking us up from the airport himself and sorting out our accommodation for the night before as well as a guided bike tour, hiking and local lunch (which was mind blowing) before we even started our safari. The safari itself was life changing as we managed to see over 30 different species of animals and birds including the elusive cheetah and leopard. Our driver Godson was excellent, very knowledgeable and respectful of the animals unlike some other providers we saw whilst on the tour. Stefano our cook was also fantastic and incredibly hard working, the food was absolutely top notch and varied for a range of dietary requirements within our group. The safari van was spacious and well equipped with plenty of drinking water and charging ports for when our phone cameras drained all our battery within the first few hours of the trip. Our camping accommodation was all provided and very comfortable and came with incredible sunrise views included (also a good chance you will be sleeping surrounded by zebras and other wildlife). We covered a lot of distance over the course of the safari but it never felt like a long drive with constant stops to see a plethora of different animals including the big 5, with leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and crocodiles to boot. The experience was overall incredible and I can't thank Miraji and Ifude Safaris enough. If you are looking for the ultimate, authentic safari experience that is run sustainably by local Tanzanians (with money going straight back to the local community and not to global conglomerates with no regard for Tanzania and its people), then Ifude Safaris is the perfect choice.

I had an amazing time with my friends on a 3 day, 2 night safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater with Ifude tours. The organisation from Miraji was great from start to finish and we saw so many different animals and the scenery is beautiful. Our driver Godson was very knowledgeable about the area and the animals so I learnt a lot too! We chose the camping option, the tents were in good condition was sleeping mats and sleeping bags and there were toilets and showers. The food was delicious and plentiful - Stefano is a great cook! I would highly recommend Ifude Tours for your Safari!

I went on a 6D5N safari with Ifude in July 2022. Besides Serengeti (1 night at Nyani campsite) and the gorgeous Ngorongoro Crater (2 nights at Simba campsite), we went to Empakaai crater and Lake Natron (2 nights at Maasai Giraffe Eco Lodge). I had a good time with driver-guide Saba, cook Stephano and Ifude boss Miraji. Saba was really experienced and skilled and this really showed when we were driving back to the campsites after dark on a couple of days. (Needless to say, he was also great at spotting hyenas, buffalos, lions, leopards, elephants, Thomson’s gazelles, greater and lesser flamingoes and other wildlife). Stephano whipped up hearty meals daily and I was amazed by how he (and all the other safari cooks) could keep meat and vegetables fresh for the duration of the safari using just a chiller box. I was also struck by their little acts of kindness. Saba chats with all other safari drivers and they help one another out. He helped me clean my mud-caked shoes while I was at the Engaresero waterfall (Lake Natron). We met a French couple at Maasai Giraffe lodge who were cycling for 2.5 months in Tanzania and their food supplies were running low that morning. Stephano lent them his gas stove to boil some water/milk and later offered some pancakes and fruit without hesitation. Props to Miraji for putting a great team together, and thanks for the company!

I have been to Africa four times now and can't get enough of the unique cultures, people, and ecosystem that you get to experience. I am good friends with Miraji and have known him for many years starting back when I visited Tanzania for a medical mission trip. So it was a no brainer for me to reach out to his company to help me book an unforgettable safari. I completed a 7day/6night camping safari where we visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The perks of using a company like Ifude is that they have all of the connections, supplies, and knowledge to ensure a seamless safari so you don't have to worry about anything other than taking pictures and enjoying the amazing views. The safari vehicles are top notch and provide lots of space to move around while driving through the parks. The drivers are very knowledgable and professional and ensure that you experience and see every animal possible while also learning some interesting facts along the way. I wasn't completely sure what to expect for the food considering we were camping in the middle of these parks, but the chef was spectacular and cooked large and delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Because this is a private tour, the chef is willing to work with your diet or any requests to ensure that you enjoy your meals and stay full. I personally requested meals with protein, so we also had lots of good meats to eat for every meal including well seasoned chicken, fish, beef, and barbecue. The camping was also new to me while on a safari and it was perfect. I was worried that I'd be hot, but it cools off at night and was actually very comfortable and I slept very well. The team provided a nice individual tent for me with a clean pillow, sleeping bag, and mattress pad. Then every day we'd drive around as long as I wanted looking for all of the amazing animals such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, zebra, giraffes, rhinos, antelope, birds, hippos, baboons, and etc. I have been on multiple safaris now and I can say that this experience was top notch and you won't get anything better than this.

We booked our 6 days of Safari with Ifude tours. Miraji arranged the whole trip according to our wishes and budget and replied always very quickly until we had a trip offer, which matched 100%. We visited three national parks and made one day of culturel experiences. Our guide und driver Osman was just amazing! He made the trip unfogattable, with all his knowledge and experience we saw all "Big 5" several times and also many other animals very close. He gave us all the time we needed for taking photos or just watch and enjoy. His driving skills are awesome, we spotted so many animals like lions by ourselves because he knows where to go. Tarangire national park is because of its vegetation and nature like on another planet. In Serengeti we saw the great migration and Ngorongoro crater was just like garden of eden - absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed every day, felt always saved and will never forget this adventure! We were two on a private safari; we worked directly with Miraji at Ifude Tours and Safaris to customize our 8 day safari to fit our interests. From arrival at Kilimanjaro to departure from the same airport for a Zanzibar beach stay, everything was beautifully planned. We began with a trip to Tarangire Nat'l Park to 'meet' our first wildlife and take time for a visiting Maasai Boma while heading to our lodge accommodation. Next to Serengeti Nat'l Park (The Whisper Safari Camp) an amazing sight - the wildebeest crossing Mara River was really an adventure. And our guide, Osman, was superb: the depth and breadth of his knowledge, and his joy in sharing information on all aspects of the ecosystem was so appreciated. The camps were so comfortable, and the staff so welcoming and capable (the meals!). Truly the trip of a lifetime, with so many cherished memories.

Ifude Tours exceeded my expectations while meeting my budget! Big thanks to the tour director Miranji and our amazing safari driver & guide Osman for organized such a wonderful private safari for my boyfriend and I over a 3 and a half-days to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater with a stopover at the Masaai Village & Tarangire National Park. Our safari highlights were definitely the welcome dance at the Masaai village, having a lion come right up to our vehicle and watching 20 over elephants charging down a hill towards us! It's an experience I will never forget. We stayed at Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp; of which we opted for the tented chalet and had such a nice stay with a scenic view of Lake Manyara. It was also wonderful to come back at the end of the safari to enjoy delicious and satisfying food cooked by the chef; we felt like VVIP! We hope we will return in the near future for the migration of the Wildebeests in Serengeti! :)
