It was almost an year ago, we started talking to Remmy from Tastic Safaris about our adventure to go to Mount Kilimanjaro follwed by visiting Serengati national park and Gnogoro crtaer. Remy was always approachable and happy to answer any questions. We ended up with a group of 8 climbers who lefyt from Manchester and reached Kilimanjaro on 22d Aug 2025. We were greeted at the airport by Tastic Safaris team member who took us to hotel where food was ready , although we reached nearly at 11 pm. Next day we had a brief from Remmy and his team. They checked our Duffel bags and advised if we need to top up any equipment etc. We started our trk on 23rd and finished on 30th Aug. THere were some 30 members of staff , including porters, guides, portable toliet engineer, KItchen staff. All were always keen to help. We were served bed tea/coffee by lovely Guidian every morning in the tent and hot water to brush up and get ready. Hot breakfast , luch and dinner. Dily health check in the morning. Most important thing were the smiles with which all staff always greeted us all the time. I have the experience of going to K2 base camp and could compare. Tsatic safari was certainly a notch or two up in delivering excellent service. Though K2 base camp and Kilimanjaro both are very different and offer different challenges. One of our group mate reuired a helicopter evacuation on last day. Remy organised it within no time. We did have insurance cover for that. After coming down from Kilimanjaro, we were joined by our families for Safari, which in itself was an experience of life time, seeing Lions, Elephants, Giraffs , Hippos , Zebras and watching the great migration was an epic experience. Thanks a million Tastic safaris for making it a lasting memory. Happy to recommend Remy and his team to help anyone for this adventure.
