We had an absolutely fantastic safari with Meru Slopes Safari! Our guide, Omari, made the entire experience unforgettable. He was an incredibly knowledgeable guide and a conscientious driver. While many other safari vehicles sped down the roads, creating clouds of dust, Omari drove carefully to minimize dust entering the vehicle and to help avoid unnecessary wear and breakdowns. We really appreciated his professionalism and the respect he showed for both the vehicle and his guests. His wildlife-spotting skills were exceptional. We witnessed breathtaking scenes of the Great Migration gathered around a watering hole, saw the entire Big Five, including the elusive leopard, and enjoyed countless other amazing wildlife encounters. Omari always seemed to know exactly where to be at the right time. Meru Slopes also selected outstanding accommodations for our trip. Every lodge and tented camp exceeded our expectations, with beautiful locations, comfortable rooms, and wonderful hospitality. We couldn’t recommend Omari and Meru Slopes Safari more highly. Meru Slopes was an extraordinary tour company we can most highly recommend to anybody interested in a safari. Our guide Kunda was phenomenal, knowledgeable and willing to help at all times. The tour, lodging, food and animal sightings were extremely organized, efficient and rewarding. We loved all the places we slept, enjoyed the food in restaurants and picnics, and were fascinated by the great number of different animals we sighted at all parks and at all times. The only animal we didn’t have the fortune of seeing was the rhino. You will have the most rewarding and smooth experience possible with Meru Slopes.

The tour was perfectly organised by Kelvin prior to our departure, tailoring to our requests. When we arrived in Tanzania everything was as planned and we had the most amazing experience! Our driver and chef were amazing and the hotels great!

Jerome the sales has been very responsive throughout the journey. Kunda the guide is fluent in English, handles crisis well, and has been a great guide who led us to see many animals in the national park.

We took a 8 day Serengeti and migration tour with Meru Slopes and had a great time. Shadrack who prepared our itinerary was patient and professional in helping us with an itinerary that fully met our requests. Our driver and guide, Domician, is very knowledgeable and knows all the animals an plants. He was constantly in communication with fellow drivers to get first-hand info about the animals and try hard to get a good spot for us to take pictures. We were lucky to see the wildbeest migration which was magnificent. All the tented camps were nice, food and service were super good. This trip was amazing! Asante sana!

We had a wonderful experience with Meru Slopes. We had a private tour - my wife and I with a guide. We spent some time before the tour making a variety of requests to stay in specific hotels and adjust the time in various locations. Jerome was extremely helpful and got us everything we wanted. Our guide, Jackson, was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable about the area, wildlife, and bird life (we are amateur birders) - our experience was simply great. We saw well over 100 different species of birds and animals and just had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this organization and its people.

We just came back from the most incredible 8-day camping safari with Meru Slopes, and we can’t recommend it enough! From start to finish, everything was perfectly arranged, and the entire team went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable trip. First of all, our chef Dulla was absolutely amazing. He’s such a nice person, and also the best chef – we were surprised everyday by the delicious meals he prepared three times a day. Nickson, who picked us up from the airport, made us feel welcome right away. He’s so friendly and knows everything about Tanzania, we learned so much from him before the safari even started. Our main contact, Gift, was super responsive and helpful. No matter the question, we had an answer within minutes. That level of service made the whole experience stress-free and smooth. And of course, the safari itself was absolutely unforgettable. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, along with so many other incredible animals and landscapes.
