The city’s Art Deco architecture in the downtown area, vibrant Corniche waterfront, and lively markets reflect Casablanca's unique mix of tradition and modern influence. Often seen as Morocco's cosmopolitan face, Casablanca offers a dynamic urban experience alongside its cultural landmarks.
The Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco, is one of the world’s largest mosques and features the tallest minaret, standing at 210 meters. Completed in 1993, it combines traditional Islamic architecture with modern design. The mosque sits dramatically on a promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, with a retractable roof and beautiful courtyards. Inside, it boasts intricate mosaics, marble floors, and stunning woodwork. It can accommodate 25,000 worshippers, with additional space for 80,000 outside. The mosque is a symbol of Morocco’s cultural and spiritual heritage and is open to non-Muslim visitors on guided tours.
Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital, combines rich history with modern charm along the Atlantic coast. The city’s iconic Kasbah of the Udayas overlooks the ocean with its peaceful blue and white streets, while the Hassan Tower and Mausoleum of Mohammed V showcase Rabat's historic grandeur. Nearby, the Chellah—ancient Roman and Islamic ruins surrounded by lush gardens—offers a serene, mystical setting. The city’s medina is quieter than those in other Moroccan cities, perfect for a leisurely stroll through traditional shops. Rabat’s blend of historical sites, modern art galleries, and coastal beauty makes it a refreshing escape with a laid-back vibe.
Hassan Tower is a historical landmark in Rabat, Morocco, originally built in the 12th century by the Almohad Caliph Yaqub al-Mansur as part of a grand mosque. The tower stands 44 meters tall, though it was intended to reach 60 meters. The mosque was never completed, leaving the tower and surrounding ruins as a testament to Morocco's rich Islamic heritage. Made of red sandstone, the tower is an important symbol of the country’s architectural history. It is located near the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and is a popular tourist attraction in Rabat.

Dating back to the 3rd century BC, this ancient city once thrived as a prosperous Roman settlement, with its wealth rooted in olive oil production and trade. The site is renowned for its intricate mosaics, which vividly depict mythological scenes and daily life in ancient Rome. Landmarks like the Triumphal Arch, Capitol, and Basilica give visitors a glimpse into the grandeur of Roman architecture and urban planning. Surrounded by rolling hills and olive groves, Volubilis offers a unique and scenic perspective on Morocco’s layered history, bridging ancient Roman, Berber, and Islamic influences. A visit to Volubilis is like stepping back in time, making it an essential stop for history enthusiasts and travelers looking to explore Morocco’s diverse heritage.

Once the capital under Sultan Moulay Ismail, it boasts impressive sites like the ornate Bab Mansour gate, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and nearby Roman ruins at Volubilis. Meknes offers a blend of history and charm, making it a quieter yet captivating destination.
Fes (Fez) is a historic city in Morocco, known for its ancient medina, vibrant souks, and cultural heritage. It's home to the world’s oldest university, Al-Qarawiyyin, and famous for its traditional leather tanneries and stunning architecture, like the Bou Inania Madrasa. Fes is a spiritual and intellectual hub, blending medieval traditions with modern life.
Merzouga is a small village located in southeastern Morocco, near the edge of the Sahara Desert. It’s famous for its stunning sand dunes, particularly the Erg Chebbi dunes, which are some of the highest in Morocco, reaching up to 150 meters (490 feet) tall. Merzouga is a popular destination for those wanting to experience the desert. Visitors can ride camels, spend nights in desert camps under the stars, and enjoy the peaceful, vast landscapes of the Sahara. The village is also known for its Berber culture, with many local people belonging to the indigenous Berber tribes. It's a must-see for travelers seeking an authentic desert experience in Morocco.

Very good experience in the Moroccan desert, thanks to Mr. Ayoub Karaoui for his professionalism, kindness, and attention to small details while remaining discreet and respectful Thanks also to our driver Mr. El Mansouri Abdelmounim who was up to the task; throughout the trip, he made us feel comfortable
I booked a 13 days with Exotic Morocco Tours after nearly 6 months of correspondence with Ayoub the owner, throughout our months of conversation Ayoub answered all my questions and send me a detailed itinerary of this tour.He was very professional And provided a new vehicle for 12 persons which was very comfortable and luxurious. He also provided a tour guide and driver for the entire trip, the hotels he selected were 3 and 4 stars with some were quite nice overall. The trip and accommodation were very enjoyable especially the birthday party he arranged for me I would not hesitate to recommend Ayoub and his company to anyone as he left us all with an unforgettable experience only to want to return for more of Morocco
We did a 10 days luxury tour with Exotic Morocco tours and they did a fantastic job with logistics and explaining the history of the place. Rachid our driver and Ali our tour guide made our trip comfortable and catered to our wants and needs. For example, the group wanted a McDonalds lunch and they made it happen. The hotels and food were great. Service with bags and at the hotel restaurants were amazing. Great trip overall and would recommend this tour group to anyone interested in seeing the wonderful country.
Exotic Morocco Tours made my 20 year dream of going to Morocco come true. It was an amazing immersive and electrifying tour. From the time we were picked up by a beautiful BMW van at the airport till the time that we returned to the airport for our return trip home, we were treated like dignitaries. The intricate mosaic tile designs throughout the buildings; mosques; Kasbahs and hotels are truly the work of artisans. Our guide Ali was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of his country, and I felt honored to share in that knowledge. Our driver Rachid kept us safe from the Minarets of the Hassan Mosque in Casablanca to the Imperial City of Mekenes; to the enchanting blue mountainous city of Chefchaouen to the sands of the Sahara desert, to the snow capped Atlas Mountains, and to the Shores of Essaouira and a whole lot more in between. The tour was meaningful; educational and spiritual for me. I might’ve even left part of my soul and heart in Morocco. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to truly experience the heart and soul of this country.
This was truly an unforgettable journey for us. Our guide made the entire experience even more enjoyable and meaningful. Throughout the trip, he patiently answered all of our questions and shared Morocco’s culture, history, and local knowledge with great passion. Because of him, we didn’t just visit Morocco as tourists—we were able to genuinely experience and immerse ourselves in Moroccan life. He also took us to some additional local experiences that were not part of the typical itinerary—unique places and activities that we would never have discovered on our own and that you won’t easily find elsewhere. He always looked at things from our perspective and took great care to make sure we felt comfortable, safe, and well taken care of during the entire trip. That level of thoughtfulness made a huge difference and allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget. I will absolutely recommend traveling to Morocco to my friends, and I will definitely recommend that they book their trip with him as well!

From the very beginning to the end of the trip, the entire team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality. Every staff member was attentive, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. In particular, we were a group with many wheelchair users, and the staff provided extraordinary assistance throughout the journey. Thanks to their thoughtful care and careful coordination, we were able to enjoy a smooth, inclusive, and truly enriching travel experience. Their deep local knowledge and well-organized arrangements allowed us to fully appreciate Morocco’s rich culture, history, and landscapes. This was not just a tour, but an immersive and authentic Moroccan experience. We are sincerely grateful for the dedication and kindness of the entire team. We highly recommend this experience to others and truly hope to return again in the future.
Everything went smoothly, even though we have relatively short stay in Morocco due to flight changes. Guides in old town were very professional. Nice pick of hotels staying even in winter weather
A perfect trip depends on who you go with. Tour guide Ayoub for a deep insight into the local history and the driver Mostafa's robust mountain driving make this 13-day journey a pleasure. In a rapidly changing field, their expertise is the most reassuring quality assurance. Accommodation is the most important sense extension of travel. The tour features a selection of 7 distinct Riads, from fine mosaic paintings to elegant courtyard shadows, each showcasing Moroccan architectural craftsmanship. A ticket to North Africa, in exchange for a sensory baptism completely different from Europe. Avoiding tasteless sightseeing drinks, Ayoub leads us deep into the streets and tastes genuinely high-level local cuisine. The value created by this ticket has long exceeded its price.
We spent 15 days traveling around Morocco, and it was a truly unforgettable journey. Our dedicated guides, Youssef and Mohammed, took such great care of us. They went above and beyond—helping buy medicine when my mother felt unwell and finding an affordable laundry service for us. > Most notably, when my father accidentally lost his bag, Youssef didn't hesitate to drive 4 hours round-trip to retrieve it for us. Although there were a few minor hiccups with some hotels, the owner, Mr. Morocco, handled everything with great sincerity and checked in on us frequently to ensure we were okay. > Morocco is a treasure trove of surprises. I highly recommend this travel agency for anyone looking to explore the beauty of this country!
There is a LOT of time spent sitting in a van going from place to place. The riads are NOT acceptable (I had to clean one upon check-in, and the water was turned off during the night = no toilet flushing or water for hand washing). We booked two nights at hotels at our own expense to avoid poor accommodation. Understand that women are 2nd class citizens here, not equal like Europe & America, so drivers and guides will not listen to anyone but men.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. While we respect every traveler’s right to express their personal impressions, we feel it is important to clarify the facts so that future guests have an accurate understanding of the experience and our responsibilities as a tour operator. This journey was a multi-destination tour across Morocco. All driving distances, travel times, and route details were clearly outlined before booking and reconfirmed prior to arrival. Travel by road is an essential and fully transparent part of such itineraries. Regarding accommodation, all hotels and riads included in the tour were carefully selected and fully paid in advance. During one overnight stay, a temporary water interruption occurred due to a local infrastructure issue beyond the control of both our company and the accommodation. Upon being informed, we acted immediately and offered solutions, including assistance, alternatives, and reimbursement options. These were declined. The decision to book additional hotels independently was made by the guest, despite accommodations already being arranged and paid. throughout the tour, we remained flexible and supportive. We offered multiple activities and alternatives to enhance the experience, many of which were accepted. However, certain confirmed experiences, including the desert camp overnight and camel ride, were later cancelled at the guest’s request. These cancellations were personal choices and not service failures. We would also like to address the cultural statement mentioned in the review. Morocco is a country with long-standing traditions of hospitality and respect. Women and men are legally equal, and our team treats all guests with the same professionalism and courtesy. At times, guides may address one member of a couple as the primary contact as a cultural sign of politeness toward the family unit, never as exclusion or disregard. No complaint regarding discrimination or inappropriate conduct was raised during the tour. Our company takes pride in transparency, accountability, and respectful service. In this case, services were delivered as agreed, unforeseen issues were handled responsibly, and every reasonable effort was made to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction. We thank Viator for allowing us to provide this clarification and encourage future travelers to contact us directly with any questions prior to booking. Exotic Morocco Tours
