I appreciated the punctuality!! On time at every point. I highly recommend earplugs!! Even with those in you would be able to hear the guide, probably even better as it blocks out the background noise. The guide was super friendly and funny, I wish I could remember her name!! Lots of things to see on the river and she was informative and put in her recommendation of things to see too. The captain was respectful and considerate of others in the water. He did a great job too. I would do it again just for the fast boat ride!!
Thank you for joining us on the 7 Wonders of the Gorge excursion! We’re so glad you enjoyed the fast-paced ride, the fun narration and the respect our captain shows on the river. The jetboat ride is definitely part of the adventure, and we appreciate your tip about earplugs—we also provide headphones, but every guest has their own comfort level. We’ll be sure to share your compliments with the crew and hope we’ll see you aboard again!
The scenery was spectacular and the weather was especially good. Our captain and guide did a great job with both safety and interesting stories.

Great experience, great views and great narration, but check the price. I paid more on trip advisor than what was advertised on the brochure inside the office.
Thank you for joining us on the 7 Wonders of the Gorge excursion! We’re glad you enjoyed the views and narration. We’d like to clarify that the price listed in our brochure is the starting price, and ticket prices can vary based on demand. There is also a 5% processing fee when booking direct with Portland Spirit, which makes the final price comparable to what’s listed on Tripadvisor/Viator. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back to a Portland Spirit cruise in the future.
Great experience and knowledgeable crew. Lived in the area for 30 years and saw learned some thins I didn’t know.
Thank you for joining us on the 7 Wonders of the Gorge excursion! We love hearing that even longtime locals discover something new with us. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to the crew — and we hope to see you on board one of our other offerings in the future!
The boat is basic, but adequate. It was a very hot day, so being on the water was nice. I wouldn’t want to do this in cold weather. Views were great. The host was a little hokey with the jokes, but was kind.
Thank you for cruising with us for our 7 Wonders of the Gorge excursion and for sharing your feedback. We're glad the views and being out on the water helped make a hot day more enjoyable. We'll be sure to pass your feedback to the guide — humor can be a balancing act, and we always appreciate hearing how we can improve the experience.
Everyone was really nice but the experience wasn’t our fave. We really wanted to love i and we were super excited to spend the afternoon on the water to see PDX and the gorge from a different POV. The boat was super loud, it was hard to see outside from the way the boat seating was arranged, and it was a bit underwhelming. It’s a long time to be out on the water and just wish it was more comfortable for that length of time. Oregon is beautiful though and there are def some interesting nuggets of intel mixed into the tour by the guide.
Thank you for cruising with us and for taking the time to share your thoughts. We’re glad to hear you found the crew friendly and appreciated some of the insights shared during the tour. That said, we’re sorry the experience didn’t quite meet your expectations. Jetboats are definitely on the louder side by nature, which is why we offer noise-canceling headphones at the start of each tour—they’re connected to our sound system so guests can still hear the narration while reducing engine noise. We understand that the open seating design and duration might not be ideal for everyone, and we appreciate your candid feedback as we continue to improve the experience. We’re happy you enjoyed the natural beauty of Oregon, and we hope you’ll consider joining us again for one of our other cruises that offer a different pace and perspective.
Good value trip. Boat is a bit basic but the trip itself more than made up for this - amazing views of the city and the beautiful scenery, as we made our way along the rivers. Tour guide was very knowledgable and didn't talk too much! Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon in the Portland area.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! We're happy to hear that you enjoyed the amazing views and found the 7 Wonders of the Gorge Cruise to be a good value. Our goal is to provide an engaging experience that highlights the beauty of the area, and we’re glad our guide struck the right balance with their commentary. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you aboard for another adventure in the future!
