7 Days Mount Kilimanjaro Machame Route Climb
Description
The Machame route, also known as the Whisky Route is one of the most scenics and recommended routes on Kilimanjaro. This popular route with paths through magnificent forests to gain a ridge leading through the moorland zones to the Shira Plateau. It then traverses beneath the glaciated precipices of the Southern Ice fields to join the Barafu Route to the summit. Because it can be done over longer periods and the incline is more manageable it has a much higher success rate of the summit.

We hab a great one time in life experience with Moraka Safari. The 7 day climb was perfectly organized, we had a wonderful crew with great, friendly and helpful porters, two very experienced guides and a fife star cook with us. Communication was always ideal, quick and constructive suggestions and answers before the climb and during the climb. The guides always acted very prudent, they explained a lot, they organized every day according to our needs and interests, so we all four in the group succeeded and reached healthy and extremely happy and proud the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
