A nice climb at the right price, the guides are nice and very pro. The ascent is beautiful, the food good and hearty, and one can rent correct equipment

We did Kilimanjaro climbing in 7 days by Machame Road. It was just AMAZING! Thank you to Rama and Paul, they were very attentive and kind guides. We had an unforgettable week with all the team, porters, chef and guides. The food was really good also. I highly recommend this agency as they are all so lovely and we miss them so much.

Spirit of Kilimanjaro (SoK) was highly recommended by our friend who booked her trip in August 2025. From our first enquiry with SoK, William (Yobu) was helpful by providing detailed responses within 24 hours or less. That impressed us from the start. Our 7-day Machame route (we completed it in 6 days!) was led by Izadini and Salim. They and the crew were friendly, attentive and did all the heavy lifting with a positive attitude and a smile on their faces! Izadini and Salim were extremely knowledgeable guides, who were supportive and paced us well throughout the trek. We knew we were in safe and trusted hands the entire time. We could not have made it to the summit without their expert advice, patience and guidance! Transfer and hotels - all transport was on time and took us to our hotels. Nice, clean, safe and lovely staff at the Keys Hotel. Food - we had a great cook! Food was hearty, delicious, fresh and hit the spot every time! We were impressed that we had starters, mains and pudding no matter where we were on the mountain or in the campsites. The cook was great and thanks for the fully bellies! Prices - very competitive and great value for money! We couldn’t recommend Spirit of Kilimanjaro enough! They were professional from the start, in regular communication, provided alternatives and suggestions without hesitation. We felt so welcomed in Tanzania and it is all thanks to SoK. I had a great and safe experience climbing to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro with William as my guide. I opted for the 7-day Machame route, but since I was my own group and I was in a good shape, I manage to do the whole trek in 5 days. Wiiliam and his team made sure that the climb was smooth. They helped me in every way they could to complete the task and we didn’t have any setbacks. I love their company and every night I used to have dinner in their tend, instead of eating solo in mine. By the way, the food was so much and so delicious that I playfully asked the chef if he could come with me when going back home. Overall, the trek is very beautiful (although demanding) and I had an amazing climbing adventure. Indeed, there are many operators offering Kilimanjaro tours, but with William and his team you can’t go wrong.

We left for Tanzania with my son at the end of January 2024 to climb Kilimanjaro with William Eliamini's team from Spirit of Kilimanjaro. The communication beforehand, the welcome at the airport, the transfer to the hotel, the preparation for the ascent via the Machame route in 7 days: everything went perfectly. Our guides Rama and Donovan were perfect: they watched over us with kindness and kindness at all times, making our health a clear priority and they supported us well in our acclimatization to high altitude by gradually making us adopt a slow walking pace (“Pole Pole”) but very effective! And the entire team of porters, waiter and cook contributed to making our trek as pleasant as possible: what a pleasure to arrive every day in a tent already set up and to eat a hot meal for lunch and dinner prepared by Steven our chef. On Saturday January 28, we reached Uhuru Peak at sunrise after 7 and a half hours of climbing on a full moon night. An extraordinary moment that will remain forever engraved in our memory! With our guides Rama and David as well as the entire team of porters, we had a great climb! The team is really lovely, we created a lot of bonding moments and it feels really good on this mountain.
