What A Great Safari!!

We had a great 6-day safari visiting Lake Natron, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Musa was an excellent guide who brought a lot of energy and knowledge to the trip and was very good at finding wildlife and making sure everyone had a clear view. The safari began with a hike up Oldonyo Lengai near Lake Natron, followed by stops in Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, and finishing in the Ngorongoro Crater. The Serengeti stood out the most for us because of its size and variety of landscapes. Seeing large groups of wildebeest across the plains with predators nearby was a real highlight. The accommodations were very comfortable, with a nice balance of camps and lodges. Special thanks to Naick for organizing everything so well. The whole trip felt well planned and ran smoothly from beginning to end.

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your experience and for choosing Kilisa Tours & Safaris for your 6-day Tanzania safari. We are pleased to hear that your journey through Lake Natron, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater delivered such a rich and diverse safari experience. The combination of volcanic landscapes, soda lakes, classic savannahs, and the wildlife-rich crater makes this one of Tanzania’s most rewarding safari circuits. It is great to know that Musa provided excellent guiding throughout the trip. His energy, deep knowledge of Tanzania wildlife, and ability to position guests for optimal viewing are exactly what we aim for in our professional safari guiding team. We are also glad you enjoyed the hike up Oldonyo Lengai near Lake Natron, as well as the unforgettable Serengeti experience with vast wildebeest herds and predator interactions across the plains. The Serengeti ecosystem remains one of the most iconic highlights of any Tanzania wildlife safari. Thank you for highlighting the comfort of the accommodations and the balance between camps and lodges, as well as the smooth organization throughout the itinerary. We also appreciate your kind mention of Naick in coordinating the logistics and ensuring everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. We look forward to welcoming you again for another Tanzania safari, Kilimanjaro trekking adventure, or tailor-made East Africa itinerary. Warm regards, Naick and the Kilisa Tours & Safaris Team

A Great Trip in Tanzania

Perfectly curated photographic and cultural safari. The pickup from the airport to our hotel in Arusha was punctual. We met with Festus our guide and started off our trip with Lake Natron, where we camped and enjoyed the unusual Lake, hiked up Oldonyo Lengai then explored nearby Ngaresero waterfalls. The trip took us to Lake Manyara - a lovely little park with lots of different animals in the forest and grassland surrounding the lake. Serengeti was super! lots of different animals in the vast golden grasslands that stretch to the horizon. Ngorongoro Crater is another place that is straight from the Fairy book. Its richly endowed with many different animals including black rhinos. The level of comfort and detail during the trip was so impressive. Lodges were nice and comfortable, and food was good throughout. I have nothing but appreciation to the Kilisa Tours and Safaris people, for being so supportive and amiable hosts.

Operator response

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful review! We are absolutely thrilled that your custom photographic and cultural safari was such a beautifully curated and seamless experience from the moment you landed in Arusha. We will gladly pass your fantastic compliments along to Festus! It sounds like you had an extraordinary route, starting with the dramatic landscapes of Lake Natron and taking on the thrilling Mount Oldoinyo trekking challenge to hike up Oldoinyo Lengai. Combining that rugged active adventure with wildlife viewing across the lush forests of Lake Manyara National Park, the vast golden plains of Serengeti National Park, and the 'storybook' wonders of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area makes for the ultimate Tanzania itinerary[cite: 10]. Spotting the rare black rhinos in the crater is always a massive highlight. We take great pride in maintaining a high level of comfort, detail, and delicious dining throughout our tours, whether our guests choose a rugged camping experience or an elevated Tanzania mid-range safari. Thank you for recognizing our team as supportive and amiable hosts.
