Regular Experience, the transportation for a trip of several hours was in a minibus, with very small, uncomfortable seats, the air conditioning did not work, a small luggage rack for a backpack and no capacity to store suitcases, some had to go in the cabin of the micro. The only thing the guide was interested in was selling the extra excursions. They left us both days at the hotel in Torremolinos without knowing when or who would pick us up to continue the trip. We had to contact the Madrid office because the supposed emergency phone number was not answering. They only informed us the day before at 7 p.m. hours who picked us up at the hotel. The only redeeming feature is the hotels that are quite good and not too far from the city centre. I do not repeat with VPT tours.
Perfect itinerary, but terrible company to do it with. This tour operator is not concerned with giving tourists a chance to see best attractions, but with logistical conveniences of the operator. Key tourist attractions not included in full (e.gl no visit inside Cathedrals in Seville or Toledo). Questionable choices of attractions to focus on vs. the ones to skip (e.g. a long tour around world fair pavilions and absolutely useless overcrowded boat tour in Seville, but no visit to cathedral or Alcazar or the bull ring). You are on your own to figure out how to use the free time, which is extremely limited as it is. Multiple languages in the same group - everything is duplicated, so time is wasted at every stop of the tour. Group composition changes multiple times during the tour as people branch off to other routes or join from other routes Hotels located far from sites to see, with check in timed so that the sightseeing opportunities are cut short. Morning rush to check out and get on the bus only to sit at a highway rest area an hour or two later for a "technical stop" for almost an hour. Dinners late and with limited options - no vegetarian options, for example. The company business model seems to be "move as many tourists as efficiently and cheaply as possible". Quality of your experience is of no concern to them and when we ran into issues (our group reservation to Alhambra was cancelled, much to our disappointment), the company representatives gave us conflicting information, and attempts to get some recourse from central office after the tour failed. They just don't care. They work number. Do not be a number - find a better company to do the tour with.
