5 Days Tanzania Join Group Safari from Arusha

We were lucky to have the two best guide Rama and Emmanuel, both created a very motivating, supportive environment so thanks to the team we made to the top! I felt very safe and comfortable the entire hike. The organization of the whole trip was smooth. I highly recommend to go with one of the guides!

Very good individual planning in advance. All change requests or ideas were possible and were quickly adapted. Easy communication via WhatsApp or Mail with Verah. We planned the private safari with a mix of tents and lodges in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater National Parks Everything worked out, from the airport pick-up to the safari to the onward flight. On the day of arrival there was a short briefing by the owner Clinton and introduction of our driver Eric. We stayed the first few days with Eric and our cook tenting. Both spoke very good English. Eric is a great guide! Knows the animals and their behavior as Maasai. He always brought us very close to the animals! Knows all national parks very well. Over dinner we had interesting conversations about life in Tanzania. Very exciting! We had a burst tire, which happens regularly in the Serengeti because of the roads. Could change Eric quickly. He's been on Game Drive with us for hours as long as we wanted. Food was very delicious and varied, although cooking was only on a gas stove. Mostly there was a soup as a starter and main course and salad. Water, tea and coffee are always included. Tents are being set up. The night was especially exciting on a special campsite alone in the Serengeti! Camping toilet and shower were set up. We personally liked camping better and are a good alternative to expensive lodges. We used to go to bed early and leave at 6 or 7. The drive to the Northern Serengeti was definitely worth it. Even in October we saw 500-600 wild beests crossing the river. Africa Joy Safari we can only recommend.

I, my wife and our two kids went on an 8-days safari with Africa Joy tours to Tarangire, Serengeti (North and Center), Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara, followed by 5-days extension to Zanzibar. When planning our trip, Clinton was always extremely kind and helpful. We made some personal suggestions to the initial plan, which were readily implemented, in a timely and efficient manner. Our private tour guide Raymond picked us up at the airport in Kilimanjaro and dropped us off there in the end. He was a great company throughout the Safari, always very friendly, funny, supportive and knowledgeable: we were so lucky!Raymond knew everything about the parks and wildlife and was amazing at spotting animals. He was even patient enough to teach us some Swahili words. It was a fantastic trip and a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience, we saw a lot of animals, including the Big Five (in less than 24 hours!) and the wildebeest migration. Even with the Covid19 pandemics, everything went smoothly. The lodges were fantastic, with excellent accommodation and food, and Covid19-related health security measures were in place: we always felt secure. We had a truly memorable experience that exceeded all of our expectations, and highly recommend Africa Joy tours: they are the best!

In this year of global pandemic, organizing a trip abroad is not easy, but not impossible! We chose Africa Joy Tours, Tanzanian Enterprise, and came back delighted! Clinton, James and Sengoro pampered us throughout our 8-day safari (Lake Manyara, Lake Natron, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire), mixing camping and tented camps (Migombani and Africa safari Lake Natron: breathtaking views and swimming pools welcome!). Perfect organization, driver guide at the top (bravo James for the big 5s, and especially for the Tarangire leopard!), and cook 5* who spoiled us at all meals (and as an aperitif!) and he also has a lynx eye! 4x4 and perfectly maintained equipment, sanitary rules respected, all entrances to parks and campsites already booked, we just have to enjoy the sumptuous landscapes and observe the incredible wildlife scattered in these huge expanses of wild beauty (and almost deserted, covid obliges, so we were really privileged, the height of luxury!) Clinton, who runs the Enterprise and responds to emails, is very responsive, arranging and adapting to your wishes and last minute changes (variable airline schedules, and uncertainties related to the virus), excellent contact by email and on site. In short, an excellent stay with beautiful people in all respects, and an Enterprise to recommend 100%. Thank you friends for all these fantastic moments shared with you!
