5 Days Serengeti Camping Safari

We had an amazing experience on the 5 Days Serengeti Camping Safari — truly one of the highlights of our trip! Everything was well organized from start to finish, and the itinerary was perfectly planned to maximize wildlife viewing. Our guide Luka was exceptional — knowledgeable, patient, and very skilled at spotting wildlife. He always made sure we had the best views and took time to explain what we were seeing, which made the whole experience much more meaningful. A special shoutout to our chef Pascal as well — the food was incredible, far beyond what we expected for a camping safari. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and gave us great energy for the long days.

One of the best experiences of my life! Serengeti and Ngorongoro are definitely the highlights and would do them again. Tarangire is also great for elephants and giraffes. Lake Manyara is hit or miss but has a lot of baboons. 5 days was definitely enough to see a wide range of things. Our tour guide Matthew was very good and very knowledgeable on the area. And our cook Dennis made very good meals! Would definitely use Serengeti African tours again!

As nature lovers, this safari has been a turning point in our lives. A unique and unforgettable experience where the animals come to see you, not the other way around—this is when you truly realize what real freedom is. It’s true that luck plays a role, but having such an experienced guide like Matthew allowed us to enjoy the trip to the fullest and have truly incredible encounters. My favorite moment was when a pregnant leopard calmly decided to visit us right next to the 4x4. Situations like that only happen when the driver knows how to handle the vehicle and always maintains respect for wildlife. He also explained every detail about the parks and was very open with us—we had a great time! A 100% recommended experience.

I had an amazing experience, our tour guide Rasheed was an amazing fun guy, .he knows all the best. Spots to find the animals and knows everything about them. We got to see the big 5 and many more. The food was also very go pod. If u are looking for a good affordable safari this is the one.

The tour was absolutely incredible! The first three days were with our guide Peter and chef Richard, and everyone in the group absolutely loved them. They make a fantastic duo — authentic, passionate, and truly exceptional at what they do. You can really tell they love their work, and that kind of charisma just can’t be replicated. I’ve done many tours around the world, but I’ve never felt such genuine nostalgia for a group as I do for this one. I also want to give a special mention to Geoffrey Samwel, who handled my airport transfers both ways. He’s a wonderful person and honestly should be leading safaris too — I found his explanations and local insights even more engaging than those of the guide on the last day (who was still very good, just not as detailed). Points for improvement: The Nyani Campsite really needs to be replaced with another option — it doesn’t meet basic conditions. The tour itinerary would be better if it ended with the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. I did it the other way around, and while it was still great, the last two days didn’t feel as thrilling as the first ones. I’ll definitely be recommending your agency to all my friends and family! Our safari experience was amazing! Our tour guide, Peter Mmary, was knowledgeable, interesting, and entertaining. He was very experienced and successful in finding animals for us to see. He explained their habits, movements, and diets. He took us on one game drive in the evening and one in the early morning, which allowed us to see a lot of animal activity. Our chef, Dennis, prepared three delicious hot meals each day. I am gluten-free, and he always made sure that there was plenty for me to eat.

We got to see so many amazing animals super close up including rhinos and leopards. Our guide Gift was so friendly and informative

Linah, the admin coordinator was very responsive and helpful. I was initially skeptical but the good reviews and the professionalism of Linah made me feel assured. David is my tour guide and driver. He is helpful and knowledgeable. During the safari, we got to see lions maating, elephants, zebras, baboons, cheetahs really up close. I would say 5 day is the sweet spot for me. Kudos to serengeti African tours.
