We had a unique experience travelling to the Rainforest Eco lodge up a very steep mountain surrounded by beautiful tea plantations. The accommodation was made from shipping containers and a very eco place. We had an amazing time at the Leopard Nest - next to the Yala National Park where we went on 2 safaris to see the elephants, leopards, spotted dear etc. We stayed in a tree house which as very novel. All the staff at the accommodation, our driver, Mr Christo and guides at the national parks were wonderful and very knowledgeable. Local Sri Lankan food great.
