10/10 recommend booking with Lion King Adventures! There aren’t enough stars to give Lion King Adventures the rating it truly deserves! The trip was well planned out, each stop and accommodation went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our honeymoon special. We felt safe, clean, and well cared for every step of the way from landing at JRO to our flight back home. Most importantly, our wonderful guide, Jabir, gave us the most extraordinary service and amazing experience. He was able to adjust for us to check everything we wanted off our list and thought of every little detail to give us the experience of a lifetime. We were sad to say goodbye because it was such an incredible trip to Tanzania! Thank you Jabir and Lion King Adventures!!

We had an amazing 5 day safari. Mkwanda made us feel safe the entire time, but was able to get us amazingly close to all of the animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hippos. Mkwanda is an expert guide who seems to know every corner of all the parks and knows where to find the hidden animals. Our stays at Olea Farm lodge and Land of Nature were great. I highly recommend ending the trip with a stay at Aya Sophia wildlife villas as well.

From start to finish, Lion King Adventures have been great. They put together a perfect itinerary, suggesting great hotels which were exactly what we were after. But the true standout out was our amazing guide, Joseph. He is truly exceptional and a credit to Lion King Adventures. From the first day he collected us, he was always early, super friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Joseph was so knowledgeable about all the animals but also Tanzanian culture and we learnt so much through his education. He truly could not have done any more for us, making sure we saw every animal and really went out of his way so we had the best trip ever.

The best trip we have experienced! Truely magical start to finish from picks up , drops offs knowledge hotels people cannot fault. Our guide Joseph was inch perfect if I could have spent a million pounds you wouldn’t find a better guide and person for that matter pure hearted guy !

We (2 adults, 2 children - 10 & 6 yrs old) had a wonderful time on tour with Mwita. Thank you so much for the safe & comfortable drive, the unforgettable and impressive sighting, your super eyes 😊, your well conducted explanations and your happy mood. We all enjoyed it very much and can only recommend travelling with you - our Personal King of Lions. Accommodation was also excellencent with yummy food. Thanks also to Florida for the outstanding planning and Simon for the uncomplicated and nice pick up. For families we would recommend going to Ngorongoro crater which was especially for the kids very impressive and easy to spot animals.

It was a great experience we don’t want to miss. Everything was very well organised from arrival to the end. We want especially thank our guide Mwita. He took care of us so well and especially was also so attentive to the needs of our kids. We were enjoying all his explanations about the country, the people and the animals. We had an incredible safari experience with Lion King, particularly thanks to our amazing guide Jafary. We started in Arusha and drove through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and finally back to Karatu and Lake Manyara. Jafary knew each of the parks like the back of his hand, and used his extensive knowledge of wildlife in order to ensure that we had the best chances to see the animals up close. And that we did! In addition, Jafary was attentive, flexible and accommodating to our needs, and he was a genuinely kind, fun and interesting person to spend our trip with. We also experienced Jafary’s driving as very safe and comfortable. The whole trip was very professionally organized, including the booking of the accommodations, the «on the go» lunches and the transfers to and from the airport. We really could not have asked for more! We hope to come back to Tanzania and do another adventure with Jafary and Lion King.

Just finished up our 5 day safari and all I can say is WOW! What a truly life-changing experience. This was both of our first times in Tanzania and on safari and I am so glad we trusted Lion King with our experience. Everything was seamless with booking from start to finish. The accommodations were great - staying in the middle of the Serengeti was unforgettable! Our tour would not have been as magical without our incredible guide, Enoch! Enoch was SO knowledgeable about the animals whereabouts and behaviors. We learned so much from him and he was able to help us see the Big Five and SO much more in our short time. He was flexible with our schedule, accommodating when I was sick one of the days, and so thoughtful to help us see what we wanted to see. I would LOVE to get the chance to tour with him again. Truly unbelievable, an experience we will never forget because of him. If you are hesitating about booking with Lion King and Enoch, don’t! My only wish is that we could’ve stayed longer!

Our experience with Lion King Adventures Safari was excellent. We felt the price was very reasonable for everything that was included, and the accommodations were comfortable throughout the trip. We were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five and so much more, making it an unforgettable experience. The true highlight of our safari, however, was our guide, Venance. With 15 years of experience as a safari guide, his expertise was obvious from day one. Everywhere we went, other guides seemed to know and respect him, which spoke volumes about his reputation. His knowledge extended far beyond the animals. He taught us about the national parks, trees and plants, local culture, and the surrounding environment, making every game drive educational as well as exciting. We chose not to hire a tracker, and we never felt like we needed one because Venance’s eyes were incredible. Even while navigating rough terrain, he was able to spot animals—like lions resting in distant trees—that many other guides drove right past. Thanks to him, we saw animals that other safari vehicles completely missed. He was also an exceptional driver. He confidently handled the safari cruiser through challenging terrain, got us to sightings quickly, and our vehicle never experienced the breakdowns that we saw happen to several others. Beyond his professional skills, Venance was simply a wonderful person. We enjoyed talking with him about life, Tanzania, and so many other topics throughout the trip. One thing we especially appreciated was how accommodating he was. After a few days, we realized the food at some of the lodges just wasn’t for us. We mentioned that we’d love to try authentic Tanzanian cuisine instead, and Venance took us to a beautiful outdoor restaurant where we were able to sample a variety of traditional dishes. It ended up being one of our favorite meals of the entire trip and gave us an even greater appreciation for the local culture. He truly went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The only aspect of the experience that left me feeling disappointed had nothing to do with Lion King Adventures themselves, but with the accommodations for safari guides. At some of the hotels, there wasn’t space for Venance and the other guides to stay overnight. Knowing that the people who work so hard to create unforgettable experiences for tourists sometimes don’t have comfortable accommodations was genuinely upsetting. I hope safari companies and lodging partners continue working together to ensure guides have safe, comfortable places to stay. They dedicate so much to making these trips special, and they deserve the same care and respect in return. Overall, this was truly the trip of a lifetime, and Venance played an enormous role in making it so. If you’re fortunate enough to have him as your guide, you’re in excellent hands.

What an incredible time! We’ve had the time of our life and wish we could stay longer than what we did. Tarangire and Ngorongoro are amazing, but the Serengeti is without a doubt the star of the show. Just WOW! Our guide, Enoch, has been amazing and super knowledgeable. We’ve trusted him to make every decision and they have alll been incredibly rewarding. We saw the Big Five and so much more in our short time and he has shared amazing knowledge, knows where to go, and is proud of his country in a way that makes travelling with him super fun and rewarding. If you’re doubting your visit or worried about the price, believe me it’s worth it! I wish I had more time enjoying the parks and seeing all the animals! Thank you so much Enoch for showing us around!! We can’t wait to be back.
