5 day safari Tarangire Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater

we did a safari with Joseph as guide and it was exellent! we are very happy with the way the whole trip was organised good hotels - good safari jeep and all questions we had were very professionally answered by Joseph he found so many animals so het became eagle-eyed Joseph we were with 4 in the jeep and it was so much fun

After our Kilimanjaro climb (also organized by Altezza), we then went directly onto the 5-day safari. This was a perfect order of adventures. Altezza took care of everything and the itinerary was outstanding. We visited Tangeri, Ngorongoro and Seregenti. Our guide Carlos was outstanding. We stayed in unbelievable places and Carlos showed us the Big 5 and so much more.

We spent 6 unforgettable days. Our guide, Saleh, who spoke Italian, was very precise and very nice. Ali, our driver, was excellent. We were fortunate to see many animals and to discover the culture, families, and local foods.

We just finished an incredible safari as our honeymoon on a private safari tour for us two with Best Day Safaris in Tanzania and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. During the trip we explored Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. The landscapes are stunning and the wildlife is unbelievable. Every day there was something new to see, and we were lucky enough to spot all the animals we were hoping for. The trip was also very comfortable the entire time. When we arrived in Arusha we stayed in a hotel and also spent time at Eileen’s Tree Inn before starting the safari. Once we were in the parks we stayed at Tukaone Serengeti Camp, which was a really unique experience. Being out in the Serengeti while still having great accommodations and hospitality made the trip even more special. Joseph was our guide and driver, and he really made the safari what it was. We highly recommend him. He’s knowledgeable, patient, and very friendly. He always made sure we were comfortable and helped us understand so much about the animals and the parks. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does. For anyone planning a safari, we would definitely recommend Best Day Safari and asking for Joseph as your guide/driver. The whole trip was well organized, the places we visited were incredible, and it’s an experience we’ll never forget.

Our safari in Tanzania was honestly better than we ever imagined, easily the best trip we’ve ever taken. We visited Tarangire National Park, the incredible Serengeti National Park, and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Every place was unique and the wildlife experience was unbelievable. We were lucky enough to see all the animals we hoped for, and along the way we learned so much about them and the parks. The accommodations were also amazing. In Arusha we first stayed in a hotel, and then at Eileen's Tree Inn, which was a great place to relax before heading out. During the safari we stayed at the beautiful Tukaone Serengeti Camp, and staying out in the middle of the Serengeti like that was such an incredible experience. Everything was comfortable and the hospitality everywhere was fantastic. A huge reason our trip was so great was our driver and guide, Joseph. We highly recommend him. He was extremely friendly, very knowledgeable, and always made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Because of him we got to see so many animals and also learned a lot about everything we were seeing. He made every day fun and interesting. If you’re planning a safari, we highly recommend Best Day Safari and Joseph as your tour guide. Everything about the trip. The parks, the accommodations, and the people made this an unforgettable experience for us.

What a five star experience from the get go. Xenia worked hard on our itinerary and nothing was a problem. She was always available to answer our questions and queries. Muro was the the most amazing guide, his experience and guidance throughout the whole safari was second to none and we got to see the infamous big 5 and so much more. The accommodation organised was wonderful. Nothing to fault here, the best safari experience 🙌

We planned our 5-day safari about 1 month before with Xenia. Communication with Xenia was straightforward, very friendly, very reliable and she gave us enough freedom and time to make decisions. The safari has been individually adapted to our wishes. We have taken a private safari for two, which is definitely preferable to a group safari. Once in Arusha everything went as planned. The next morning our safari started punctually at 08:00 with our very competent, experienced and super friendly guide Joseph. It has the “lion” part in making the safari an unforgettable experience. His always alert and trained eyes spied every animal, even the most hidden, and so we saw not only the “Big Five” but many more animals than we could imagine in the 5 days. We visited Tarangire, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara and all parks have their special unique charm. The 2 nights at Tukaone Weavers Camp remain unforgettable - not only because of the lion pack in the camp. It was the right decision to stay 2 nights in the Serengeti. This is the only way to experience the true beauty and vastness of the park. Our biggest thanks and a sweet greeting goes to Joseph!

We actually did a total of 8 days visiting: Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. Two couples (all friends) with a driver/guide. The trip was a huge success and fantastic experience. Peter arranged the overall itinerary after we made some suggestions for a longer stay. Joseph, our driver/guide who was with us the entire 8 days, was incredible. Only one of the camp stays had a few issues (Tukaone was not really ready for guests yet as rooms had some inadequacies - but was still okay). Everything else was very well done. Highly recommend it (especially if you get Joseph as a driver.) Be prepared for a bouncy ride though as roads are rough and we were at the tail end of high season which meant there were fewer cars but roads were extremely dusty; but what do you expect, you're on safari! So many animals to see and things about different cultures to learn. The only "big 5" animal we didn't see up close on this trip was the rhinoceros but we had seen plenty of them in Rwanda the week before. Absolutely amazing!!

We had an incredible experience with Best Day Safaris on our 5 day Safari. Communication was great and Everything was organised perfectly by Yuna from our airport pick up until the end where we were dropped off at Kilimanjaro airport. In the 5 days we covered Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. Our guide Muro was a legend, he was so knowledgeable and did everything possible for us to see as much as we could, it was clear he is so well respected amongst all the Safari Guides and we felt lucky to have him with us. Our favourite part of the safari was the Serengeti, the vastness of it and seeing the animals out there was a once in a lifetime experience. The accommodation and meals were all great, we really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Tukaone tented camp in the Serengeti although hearing the Zebras passing by the tent during the night took some getting used to. We would thoroughly recommend Best Day Safaris for anyone looking to book a Safari they are a 10/10. Thank you so much for making our Honeymoon so special. Jamie and Phyllis

Fantastic experience, beyond all expectations. Well-kept and perfect organization. Professional and extremely helpful guide (in English). We visited central and northern serengeti for wildebeest migrations. Tarangire and ngoro ngoro. Super recommended.
