The crew was amazing and took great care of the passengers. The boat is spacious and clean, and they had a good selection of drinks on board for purchase. The trip had the perfect amount of time on the boat and on the island, and we hope we’re able to come back someday to do it again!

Very organized

Very fun! Here are a few things that may be helpful. They leave right on time so don’t be late for anything. They have a bathroom available the whole time which was awesome. Drinks available for purchase and some chips but pack a lunch. Super nice crew! Well organized! Great time!

Read the disclosures. I did not read the fine print

You are not allowed to BYOB & there aren’t any snacks that are offered or will be provided, so you will need to bring your own snacks for the duration of your trip. Be dressed in a swim suit, underneath your clothing. When you get off the boat you will be in water waist-chest high depending on how tall that you are. I wish the total time of the tour, would have been longer than 4 hrs. Time passes by quickly if you walk to the beach, on the other side of the island. You do need to pay for parking, next to the Marina. The boat crew was friendly & personnel. The trip is what you make of it. Personally, making the trip with my friends was the best part of the day, for me.

Great experience.

The Pelican couldn’t have been nicer. Very competent, courteous and attentive crew. They prepared us well for what to expect in Ekmont Key and we loved it. Highly recommend.

Excellent adventure

Excellent experience with my daughter. The crew were wonderful and very helpful, especially when leaving the ferry. The only negative was when we got to the island to get off the ferry you go down a steep ladder into thigh high water. Same ladder when returning to ferry, wading through thigh high water and then having to pull yourself up the ladder. We were able to do this but for someone with mobility issues, it may difficult. We did not see any mention of this before purchasing the tickets or boarding.

If you want to take a wonderful boat ride and lay on the beach, this is the place to go. You can do some shelling while

The boat ride was wonderful there and back. But if you’re going somewhere to be entertained on the beach, this is not the place to go. However, if you want just a beach day, it’s perfect. The ruins an old light house and very little stones for a Fort were not the attraction we were hoping for. But the staff on the boat was excellent. They make sure all your needs were fulfilled and I have to say the captain drove the boat better than others we’ve been on.
