We LOVED our experience with this company! Our guide Abduli took great care of us and made sure that we saw the big five. He made sure we got to everything on our list, even made an extra stop on the way back to Arusha to help us buy souvenirs. His English was so good and he also speaks German. Highly recommend requesting Abduli as your guide. The food we were served throughout the trip was very tasty and we enjoyed staying in the tented camps, especially Serengeti Classic View. The staff there were amazing and it was fun to stay in a glamping tent. Can't recommend this company and Abduli enough. Tanzania and the Serengeti are so special and it was not crowded even during the busy season! You should go.
We just returned from the most incredible trip with Meijo Safaris. The company is top-notch, highly professional, and perfectly organized, but the real star of the show was our guide, Mr. Herman. Herman has absolute hawk eyes! It became a running joke that he has superpowers because he spots so many things that the average person would never see. He found big cats camouflaged in the brush, rare wildlife hiding in the distance, and always made sure we had the perfect angle to watch and take photos. His knowledge of the animals and the terrain is unmatched. If you book with Meijo Safaris (which you absolutely should!), do yourself a favor and request Mr. Herman as your guide. You won't regret it.
We managed to see the five Africans, the travel agency was very good and the guides were good. Recommended.
A safari is a trip everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. I believe Meijo provided the best experience possible given the time and resources provided. We were able to see the big 5 all up close(except the rhino which we only saw at a distance) and some rare events which include: cheetahs eating a wildebeest, elephants mating and a lion feeding its cubs. I believe we were able to see these somewhat rare events because of our excellent guide, Herman, which had the experience and terrific eyesight which made tracking down these animals possible. This trip was absolutely worth the price and anyone with thoughts of going to a safari trip should seriously consider booking with Meijo.
We carefully confirmed each day's itinerary and the whole trip was satisfying! I saw the lions with their dolls, saw the cheetahs preying, experienced the luxury of the Four Seasons Hotel and felt the comfort of a cabin on a rainy night. The guide Herman was very experienced, he had eyes comparable to telescopes and showed us almost all the animals! Recommended.
Thank you so much Meijo Safaris for organizing the best experience during our honeymoon for me and my husband. Everything was well planned and we saw alot of animals, Lions, Cheetah, Leopards and so many common wild animals, our jeep was stocked with cold beer and wines and also Wi-Fi was provided during the safari, the jeep was clean and AC was working. Special thanks to our guide Mr Herman for making sure we had the best and unforgetablw experience. Asante Sanah
We had an extraordinary experience with Meijo Safari, organized in every detail. The itinerary was perfect: Tarangire, Lake Ndutu, two days in the Serengeti and the magnificent crater of Ngorongoro — a complete and exciting journey. Our guide Elia was excellent: always punctual, professional and very prepared. He explained animals, flora and fauna in a clear and engaging way, making every sighting even more interesting. We also greatly appreciated his respectful approach: prudent driving, never invasive and always careful not to disturb the animals, following a true philosophy of “leaving no footprints”. Thanks to him we were able to see the Big Five, a unique emotion! In particular, the sighting of the black rhino in the Serengeti was truly unforgettable. We absolutely recommend Meijo Safari and Elia to anyone who wants to experience an authentic, well-organized and nature-friendly safari.
Amazing experience with our safaris guide Aron, a gentleman with professional knowledge and experience.
Our 6-day Tanzania safari with four people was absolutely amazing. We saw plenty of incredible wildlife, including lions and cheetahs, and every moment was exciting and unforgettable. The scenery was breathtaking, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. The only small issue was that the hotel on the first night had some minor equipment problems, which slightly affected our rest. But overall, the trip was excellent. The guide was professional and the itinerary was well-organized. Highly recommended for an unforgettable safari adventure!
Just finished a 6 day, 5 night safari tour of Tanzania, hitting Kahndutu and the central Serengeti, the prairies are beautiful, the wildlife is amazing! Along the way, you'll see lions and other beasts, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes and other herds, and immerse yourself in the wildness and vitality of the African steppes. The guide is particularly professional and patient, looking for animals with a superb vision, meticulous and thoughtful explanations, and full of security throughout. The itinerary is reasonable, the experience is perfect, definitely worth five stars praise! Recommended for all friends who want to go to Africa to see animals, definitely worth the trip 🌟
