A great safari experience with an excellent guide/ driver who provided an excellent level of service throughout the 4 days. He was very organised & flexible, nothing was too much trouble. On safari, he was very knowledgeable of the wildlife, patient and kept us safe at all times.

As a traveller who likes to support local companies, it is always a bit of a minefield when you are travelling to a country that you are unfamiliar with. After extensive research I opted to book with Serengeti Wakanda Tours, because of the great service provided (by Beatrice) via email/WhatsApp and because their quote was truly a fair one (I requested 15+ quotes from different providers, compared them based on cost, accommodation and extra’s offered such as WiFi, beverages etc) Having just completed our 4 day safari I am so pleased to have trusted this company, as we had an amazing experience. Not only did our guide, Godlove, speak perfect English, he was kind, approachable, patient and took great care of us. He is a very safe driver, did not take any risks, is very knowledgeable about the birds and animals and was great company all round. The trip included a range of different (tented) lodges, which all had its charm. My family and I were treated so well by everyone, we enjoyed the picnic lunches en route and the dinners in the evening. I have just finished the best 4 days on Safari with our amazing guide Godlove. He is so friendly and polite, goes above and beyond to try and make sure you see what you wished and his knowledge about the animals was great. I learnt loads and saw more than I could have imagined. We had great food the whole time, stayed in beautiful lodges/camps and Godlove made sure we were always safe. Thank you so much for making our safari so special and comfortable !!!

Exceptional staff, they literally pampered us! We experienced a wonderful 4-day family safari in June with Wakanda, and it was an impeccable experience from start to finish. Even before departure, the assistance from Italy with our coordinator Giulia was extraordinary: welcoming, super helpful, and extremely responsive. She answered every one of my questions, even the least relevant, literally in less than a second! The punctuality at the hotel pickup was fantastic. There we met Justin, our guide for the entire trip, who immediately welcomed us with very appreciated welcome gadgets. The jeep was equipped with every comfort, with water and various drinks always available. Justin is an incredibly knowledgeable guide, both about the fauna and the flora: he was able to respond with great professionalism to every one of our curiosities, even the most particular. A special mention goes to the head chef Moses. A young man with extraordinary culinary skills: from breakfast to dinner, he delighted us with truly gourmet dishes. They really pampered and cared for us at every moment. Heartfelt thanks to the entire extraordinary staff of Wakanda for making this family trip unforgettable! We came to Tanzania for our honeymoon and did a 4-day safari through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti. We were lucky to see the big five thanks to our guide Israel. The service has been excellent. Super attentive and kind. The food was excellent, and the hotels were very comfortable and beautiful. Whenever you arrive, they greet you with a smile and are super helpful. Everything was perfect!

Last week we went on Safari with Wakanda Tours and WOW!! We had the most INCREDIBLE TIME! Right from the beginning when I booked directly with Gwen, a wonderfully friendly lady from the company, we knew we would be in really safe and trustworthy hands. Gwen helped to design us a trip that lived up to our dreams as well as supported our budget. When we arrived in Tanzania we were met by a member of the team, Jackson, who was so pleased to see us and get to know us. He tailored our day trip that day to our specific interests and took good care of us after a long flight. Thank you Jackson for starting our trip off on such a high! The safari itself was out of this world! Our tour guide Benedict was so knowledgeable and friendly, we had some amazing sightings of the great migration and we ticked off the Big Five! The thought of being out in the wild, with wild animals was scary at first, but we knew that with Benedict’s knowledge and experience, we were in very safe hands. The highlight of our game drives not only included beautiful scenery, incredible sightings of animals but also getting to know Benedict and an insight into local life. Every single accommodation that we stayed in had clearly been carefully chosen by the company, the settings were beautiful, the food was delicious & the staff couldn’t do more for you. The beds were SO comfortable which made for perfect rest in preparation for our early morning game drives. After Safari we had some unexpected issues with our luggage for the next leg of our trip to Tanzania. Wakanda tours went above and beyond taking care of some of our belongings for us, even when our trip with them was over. We are extremely greatful for this. We are leaving Tanzania today with very happy hearts and a wealth of memories. We can’t wait to talk to our friends about our Safari in Tanzania & recommend Wakanda tours to them for their safari’s! After comparing several Safari companies, the choice finally came to book through Serengeti Wakanda Tours. We decided to do a 4 day safari in the parks: Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We received our travel proposal quite quickly via email. They offered different options for the accommodations. Ymke and later Goodluck were very helpful for arranging and booking everything. From payments to questions, you could always contact them! We slept one night before the safari an evening in Arusha. We were neatly picked up by Jackson from Arusha Airport. He told many things about Tanzania and Arusha along the way. The next day Bashir, our guide for the four days safari, was ready to pick us up. Our experience with him was very positive. He knows a lot about all the animals we encountered. Took his time to stop at the animals we encountered and can be quickly somewhere when necessary if he was told if an animal was spotted elsewhere. He knows the parks well and knows how to be in the right places in the park. Furthermore, he knows how to plan everything, when we could best start the game drive and what time we should be at the accommodations. You certainly don't waste valuable time on the safari trip! In the end, we could have spotted all the animals of the Big Five with Bashir. We can recommend Serengeti Wakanda Tours to everyone! Especially if it is your first Safari experience. The accommodations they offered were perfect! The food at those accommodations were also very good. The Safari jeep was fully equipped. From binoculars to drinking, charging stations and even WiFi. Arranging the (down) payment was easy and safe, everything was well explained and discussed. Asante sana Serengeti Wakanda!

Here’s a polished review you could post on Google, TripAdvisor, SafariBookings, or Facebook: We recently completed a safari with Serengeti Wakanda Tours, and it exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived until the end of our trip, everything was professionally organized, seamless, and truly unforgettable. On our first day, we flew directly into the Serengeti. The adventure started before we even landed, as we were already spotting wildlife from the airplane. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our guide, Bashir, and immediately headed out on our first game drive. Within a very short time, we found a pride of lions, including three small cubs. It was an incredible way to begin our safari. We spent two nights at La La Salama Tented Camp in the Serengeti, which was exceptional. The camp was brand new, comfortable, and located right in the park. One of our most memorable experiences happened on the very first night when the Great Migration was passing directly by our tent. We could see thousands of wildebeest and hear them throughout the night as they grunted and sparred during mating season. It felt like we were truly immersed in the African wilderness. The following morning, Bashir set out to help us find the remaining big cats. Using his extensive knowledge of the area, he took us to a location where a leopard was known to frequent. It didn’t take long before we found a leopard resting in a tree over a recently killed wildebeest. We were able to get remarkably close and capture some amazing photographs. That same day, we experienced a large herd of elephants walking directly beside our vehicle. However, the highlight was finding a cheetah mother and her two cubs. Shortly after locating them, the mother spotted a Thomson’s gazelle in the distance and immediately went into hunting mode. We had the incredible opportunity to watch the entire hunt unfold and witnessed her successfully take down the gazelle. It was one of the most exciting wildlife encounters I’ve ever experienced. On the third day, we visited the Ngorongoro Crater. The scenery there was breathtaking, with mountains surrounding the crater and wildlife spread across the landscape. We were fortunate enough to spot four black rhinos, completing our Big Five sightings. One thing visitors should know is that wildlife in the crater is often viewed from greater distances than in the Serengeti, so binoculars were very helpful, especially when traveling with young children. That evening we stayed at Moon Bow Lodge, which was very nice, but personally I preferred staying inside the park at the tented camp. If I return, I will definitely spend more nights inside the Serengeti. Our final day was spent in Tarangire National Park. While the vegetation was fairly thick during our early June visit, we still saw plenty of wildlife, especially around the river areas. We encountered many elephants, including one particularly large herd. Although Serengeti was our favorite park overall, each park offered its own unique beauty and wildlife experiences. After our safari concluded, Bashir drove us to Arusha Airport for our flight to Zanzibar. Serengeti Wakanda Tours even coordinated our transportation after we arrived in Zanzibar, making the entire trip completely stress-free. What truly set this safari apart was our guide, Bashir. His experience, knowledge, and dedication made all the difference. He consistently went the extra mile to help us find the animals we wanted to see while also avoiding crowded viewing areas whenever possible. Many times we were the only vehicle observing wildlife, which made the experience feel much more personal and authentic. I would highly recommend Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Bashir to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania. We saw the Big Five, witnessed incredible wildlife behavior, stayed in excellent accommodations, and created memories that will last a lifetime. One final tip: we visited in early June and found the parks pleasantly uncrowded. We were told that July and August tend to be much busier, so early June may be one of the best times to experience Tanzania’s wildlife without large crowds.
