I took a one on one guided tour on a high powered scooter around the North of Vietnam starting and ending in Hanoi. The owner, Michael, was very responsive and offered high quality customer care and speedy responses from the time of booking and through the tour all the way until the end. My tour guide, Son, was an excellent guide and companion. We stopped at many off the beaten path spots such as: -home stays -local farms -numerous breath taking views -a National Park w/ an amazing monkey refuge -great local eateries -many more Michael coordinated everything, including transportation from the airport to Hanoi and a hotel in Hanoi the night before the trip. There was a bit of conflict just before the trip — which was definitely my fault: I inadvertently booked a trip w/ a different firm and canceled for 1/2 of a day — but Michael handled it with class; I ended up deciding to commit to Michael’s trip at 8pm the night before the trip started and he ensured that the trip proceeded as planned. This was a magical trip all around and reiterated why Vietnam is one of my favorite countries in the world: there’s something indescribably and spiritually special about it. The food is amazing w/ high quality ingredients, the people are gems, it’s breathtakingly beautiful, and the culture is world class. Back to the trip, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a memorable experience and to support a hard working company in a very special place.
