My Inca Trail journey was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. My friend and I take a special trip every 5 years, and we had been planning and training for this for 5 months. Yang, our travel assistant, was great at helping us organize a private tour.He communicated well and was very efficient and accommodating. The guide where kind and informative, the porters were the hardest working people I have ever met, and the chef was extremely talented. (Get there early to acclimate and take all the drugs!) Once in a lifetime experience!
We started our Inca Trail trip planning by sending out emails to 7 different companies and Yang was very very informative and helpful, but most important - the only one that was truly personal (no copy pasting information, but actually reading our email and answering all the questions. + Yang was the only one that acknowledged the fact it was our honeymoon trip). Everything was first class. Organization, keeping us informed about everything that is going to happen, delivering what's promised and more. Equipment (tents, sleeping bags, etc) clean and good quality. Our guide was Carlos is very knowledgeable and passionate about Inca history and was able to offer an insider's perspective throughout. The porters and chef were fantastic! The quality of dishes Pablo was able to make was impressive -- tasty, healthful and plentiful -- and I had to keep myself from over-eating at each meal. overall Inca Trail was an incredible experience which I had been looking forward to for ages. I will definitely recommend Incamachupicchutours.com to family and friends who are traveling to Machu Picchu.
This was a most amazing hike. We went to Peru for our honeymoon and booked the Inca Trail with Inca Machu Picchu Tours. Our travel agent Yang was great. He was quick to respond, gave us an initial and final itinerary and notified our driver when our flight was delayed. They booked a great 4* hotel in Cusco, Ramada Hotel. They were organized and detailed in the briefing. Our guide on the trail was Efrain,He was fun, informative and accommodating. A wealth of knowledge, his passion for the Inca culture and history was apparent. He never tired of entertaining us, motivating us and answering our questions. One of the highlights of the trip were the meals provided each day on the trail. Our chef, Claudio, and Inca crew of porters, amazed us with the delicious, varied and nutritious meals they created with nothing more than the ingredients carried on their backs. Overall, an unforgettable trip, I would highly recommend Inca Machu Picchu Tours to anyone looking to take on this adventure.
