4: days Big five safari

we spend 6 days in total - 1 day in Arusha and 5 days on Safari - Tarangire National Park, Central & Southern Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area (crater). Though this is my second safari trip, I was not disappointed in terms of coverage and most important of all the excellent level of service provided by Mathew and his team. In particular the driver/guides of Mike, Ally and Ayubu were exemplary - friendly, knowledgable and fun people doing their job. Will I travel again with Mathew & company - a definite and resounding YES! You will not be disappointed but be amazed by the trip.

Wild Root Safaris are absolutely brilliant! We had the most fantastic four day safari with Mdee, our guide, and couldn't have been better looked after from beginning to end. Thank you to both drivers Hussein and Fantastic from Wild Root who did a Fantastic job of driving us all over Serengeti Park and Ngogorongo Crater. As a result of their pursuit to give us a sighting of the 'Big 5' we had a memorable trip. Even managed to see the Mara River wildebeest migration due to the experience of these two drivers. It was truly a memorable trip from viewpoint of Accommodation, Expertise, Experience, Committment, Dedication of Wild Root philosophy. Thanks Matthew and Team.

The safari with Wild Root Safaris was amazing! Everything was perfect - the communication before we left the UK was great, the transfers to and from the airport were very smooth, all the accommodation and camps were wonderful, the route worked really well, the amount of time in each place felt spot on (6 nights: 1 in Arusha, 2 Tarangire, 2 Serengeti and 1 Ngorogoro Crater), the jeep was comfortable & spacious, and our guide (Hamisi) was absolutely fantastic - completely reliable, incredibly experienced and knowledgable and great with both our older boys (18 & 21) and our 8yr old daughter. Plus we were lucky enough to see the Big 5 plus loads of other animals! My 3 tips for others would be a) to take your own good quality binoculars (there was only 1 pair in the jeep so even though we had bought an additional pair it would have been good to have a pair each) and b) it's definitely worth having a proper camera with a decent zoom lense rather than just a phone and c) take lots of cash, US dollars & TZ shillings! ATMs are few and far between once you leave Arusha and they charge a lot for each withdrawal, plus everywhere we went were very keen to be paid in cash rather than on a card and you need lots for tips along the way too.

We had a great experience with Wild Root. Mathew, the owner, was very responsive, and tailored the trip to our needs and requests, which wasn't easy given we were travelling with a four year old. Mbine (sp?), our guide, was very knowledgable about the wildlife and ecosystems, and great to be around! He also tailored our days to our requests and time constraints. I would use Wild Root again.

I and my husband wanted to go Tanzania for honeymoon. To us, it's the first time to visit Tanzania a little bit worried. But due to wildroot company (especially guide Luka), we can enjoy this country fully. We saw all of big5 in 3 days. I really thank Luka And we can't forget this wonderful memory Recommend wildroot!

It was a wonderful and unforgettable safari trip with Wild Root Safaris! We have visited Tarangire National park, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater. Each of them is must visit if you’re in Tanzania. Overall the trip was very well organized with everything like it was agreed: we had beautiful places to stay at night, nice food and good experiences! ) We saw all big five, were watching the lions making love, leopard’s hunting, visited Masai village, made hundreds of amazing photos and videos and heard many good stories during the safari. ) Thank you very much, Mathew and Ray! You guys are highly recommended!!!

It was our very first trip to Africa and we were thrilled by our safari experience with a Wild Root. The camp facilities were excellent; the food was good especially our dinners and breakfasts. We experienced attentive and polite service. Highly recommended

I chose a safari tour for my honeymoon. During the safari tour, our guide at WildRoot took care of us carefully. He always tried to show us many animals. We could enjoy safari tour because he was there. :) I could also feel that WildLoot is a travel agency that provides systematic and stable programs!!!

We met Phil, the manager, at the airport. He was so kind, and explained well about our safari tour. Emmanuel was our private safari guide. He was super kind, knowledgeable and always on time. He really helped to find animals and explained about the animals. It was amazing unforgettable memories for our honeymoon. Thanks to Phil and Emmanuel for making our honeymoon so special. We will definately visit again with wildroot safaris.
