4 days 4 destinations in North Argentina

Beautiful experience.. It was my dream to see all the beautiful places we have in the North of Argentina. We requested the complete package from Parada Norte Travel; our guide and driver to the salt flats was David, truly a genius. A lot of knowledge, everything was explained very well, and good vibes.

I went to Salta last week and the experience with the company was excellent. I did all 4 excursions in a row (I do not recommend it, as they are excursions of between 12 and 14 hours and I was quite exhausted, especially considering the altitude), but it was still enjoyable. I had Nacho, Mauro Guanuco, and Belen as my guides. All three were excellent and super friendly. The drivers were also great, Fer, Gabriel, and David Lera. They adhered to the schedules, communicated in advance to pick us up, and the transfers were comfortable. In order of the excursions, my favorite is Cachi, followed by Salinas, Cafayate, and finally Humahuaca/Hornocal. Thank you <3

I closed with Parada Norte the 4 main tours and my experience was great. The agency has its own vans, as well as its own guides. Not outsourcing the tours. Great drivers, perfect guides, with extensive local and historical knowledge that they were telling during the journey. Hours respected, both at the pickup and at the return to the lodging. New vans, clean and comfortable, during the journey were also played regional songs, and often with themed about the place we were passing. There were days when passenger nationalities were also played for moments of relaxation and cultural exchange. When necessary to send a message with any doubt was quickly answered. For Brazilians, you can pay with Pix, which makes it a lot easier. Super recommend!

A fantastic experience; the company fulfilled everything agreed upon, the vehicles were very new and clean, with Wi-Fi, punctual, and very friendly, both the guides and the drivers, with dream destinations. A beautiful trip thanks to Parada Norte. Ideal for people traveling alone as the company provides a lot of security and passengers are not alone at any moment. Highly recommended

On the last day, we went to Hornocal with guide Mauro and driver Juan. Excellent service and willingness. Previously, we also had Majo, Romina, and Luciana as guides. All excellent. Recommended.

Today we visited Salinas Grandes Jujuy and Purmamarca🌵 and it was an excellent day with ideal weather accompanied by the historical information of each place. Roo and Matías provided excellent service! Highly recommended.

Very comprehensive, you can visit all the top locations near Salta in a fast way. The views from the van were great, the stops even better. Varied guides, but all very educational and friendly! If you don't want to drive yourself, this is a handy alternative.

Overall we enjoyed the tours, however, up to 9 and a half hours in a bus is a lot for 4 consecutive days. I would recommend a couple of the days maybe with a day in between. The trips to Cachi and Salinas Grandes were definitely the highlights and unique, unforgettable experiences. One thing to be aware of is that there is a fee to be paid to a local guide at Salinas Grandes which is not included in the booking fee. We were told subsequently that the fee was not obligatory. However, if you didn’t pay it you didn’t get out onto the salt flats which is, of course, the whole point of the trip. The fee was only about €5 per person so not a big deal but worth being aware of. The guides were okay overall. Cesar was excellent; enthusiastic, thoughtful and informative. One of the others, whilst engaging, made a fair number of inappropriate comments and another seemed much more engaged with the Spanish speakers on the trip and not that interested in taking questions. Parada Norte appear to be a well run tour operator and we would definitely recommend using them
