It was such pleasure to meet with second to none crew (Chelsea over email/Phone, Torsten the commander-in-the-field, Sonja the kindest soul on the planet, and Ash the cordial, Jovial, knowledge 3-in-1 pack. Wow! We had an amazing time. They are very flexible and welcoming. I already have a commitment to myself to go again but this time in summer and for a different set of activities.
Maggie is very professional and friendly, she is good at driving and photo. There is a warm house while waiting Dog is very happy and view is good, pefer afternoon trial for better sun light
Mom and daughter are very nice and the dogs are well trained. There’s a warm tent and hot drinks after freezing sledding. All of my family members enjoy this activity so much.
Our experience was great from the beginning to the end. Keaton was very open to sharing his dogs with us. He took lots of pictures of us with his dogs. We had a very fun ride. After the ride, we got to go back to the yurt to have hot chocolate and tea. Then we got to meet other dogs in the kennel. Jeremy introduced all the dogs to us, and there were lots of them. We could see that he had very close relationships with each of the dogs. We highly recommend.
The tour is very good, with fabulous guide and staff. Though my favorite part is playing with all the dogs. ❤️
Dog sledding is a wonderful experience, and the hosts at 1st Alaska Tours were the best I've ever seen. Make sure you have multiple gloves and hand warmers! It gets freezing, esp early in the morning.
The best time and it was a great experience. We got to mush with the dogs and learn how they live and how they take care of them. Recommended.
Eventhough we have an an car accident, company was not offer a refund for us. Only said that they were contact but no response.
This was an amazing experience!! Matt, our musher/guide is so knowledgeable about the dogs and showed he really cares for them. The dogs were so eager to run. It looked like they cared about the passengers too. At one point we banked to made a turn, the two dogs nearest to our sled looked back at us as if asking “you guys ok?”. Amazing!!!! That’s all I can say!!!! Great job mushers!!!and of course the Huskies!!!!
Was very nice and all the people very friendly. After you finished you have hot coffee and chocolate.
