The tour with Gustavo was excellent! It was fun and informative. He was very accommodating and kind, and we learned a lot from him. We would definitely recommend this tour to others wanting to see the beauty of the area and learn about the history and current coffee production. Also - Pablo and his family were amazing at the coffee shop and plantation! It was wonderful to have a home cooked meal and enjoy the gorgeous scenery.
I booked it with TripAdvisor, but the charge appears under Viator; honestly, it seems very expensive for the tour. They only take you to a place that prepares a coffee called Diamante, and honestly, I didn't find it good at all. It doesn't include anything, and what I found unacceptable is that they charge a lot, plus they charge for the coffee plantation they take you to, and they still say that the tip was earned. I wanted to go to other coffee plantations nearby, but they were rushing me, and honestly, I was left somewhat dissatisfied because I couldn't try different coffees or anything. The person who serves you is very kind, but honestly, it's not worth paying for that. Better to go alone.
We spent the day with Hector for this tour. We don’t usually do organized tours so was unsure what to expect. We had the best day! Hector was amazing - funny - knowledgeable - kind - we got picked up at our hotel on time, made some stops in the way to the coffee plantation - had some coffee and cookies along the way at cafe suprema - met up with another group at the plantation where Pablo and “Latte” took us on a great tour of the plantation. We learned a lot and had fun. The. We the. head back to cafe suprema where we enjoyed an amazing chicken and pasta lunch, more offer, juice and mezcal. After a little shopping we head back down the mountain! Hector really made the day great. Highly recommend! REALLY
Hello from paradise. Thank you very much for your comment. Hector is an excellent member.
We had a wonderful trip with Hector for 3 Levels of Huatulco. Having visited the area many times, we had yet to visit Santa Maria Huatulco or a coffee farm. It was really interesting. We are thankful that they chose a small, organic farm. Hector was a very friendly, knowledgeable guide. We look forward to doing other tours with him.
Hello from paradise. Thank you for your comment.
We had a fantastic private tour (at no extra cost) led by Archie from Homietours. He was very knowledgeable about the town and area and connected us to a good coffee vendor in Pluma Hidalgo. He made a short video as we went so we had a nice memento in the end. Archie grew up locally and helped us understand how the area evolved since the 90s. Really excellent tour group and a fun day long experience
Hello from paradise. Thank you for your comment. We're happy you enjoyed your tour.
The tour was fun to learn about the ways that they create and process coffee, and in general the eco culture of that area of Mexico, both our tour guide and the plantation owners were great !
Hello from paradise. Thank you for your comment.
Hector was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable about everything & so eager to take care of us in every way to ensure we had the best experience. Tour of coffee plantation exceeded our expectations. Family owned business, rich with tradition & hospitality. Tastings were great, food offered for lunch was perfect. Bring pesos as you will need to purchase the meal.

Great experience ! So informative and such a beautiful area. So nice to get up into the mountains. It is a long day. The lunch that is offered (you pay extra) is a nice end to the tour but the food was very bland. Everyone was very kind and our driver,Hector, was very informative.
Hello from paradise. Thanks for your comment, Hector is passionate about his work.
Vincent was a fun, knowledgeable and easy to understand tour guide. Pablo, owner of plantation, gave us a great tour of all phases of growing and then processing coffee. Was great to see and visit some interior towns and learn a bit about economy of the area.
