Definitely recommend this charter, Ash was such a knowledgeable guide who led us strait to the bite. It took only 15-20mins before we caught my son’s first ever Rainbow Trout followed by a nice Brown.. He gutted them for us to take home for dinner & picked us up & dropped us off at our accommodation. I’m 100% certain we would’ve got more but had to cut it short due to the cold weather & rain closing in.. If you want to catch fish I highly recommend Ashley & I’ll definitely do it again if I ever come back!!!! Thanks Ash again mate you’re a champion!!!!! Stu & Lachie 😎
Wow, just wow! The snow was rubbish so we decided to head out with Ash on Lake Wanaka for 3hrs of fishing. What a blast!! Ash has amazing local knowledge Super stable boat Multiple styles of fishing to stack the odds And we caught heaps!!! Fish and chips tonight!! Thanks Ash, an amazing day.

Great morning on lake Wanaka with Ash, very knowledgeable guide and worked hard to put us onto some great fish when they weren't on the bite.
Amazing experience! Ash was very knowledgeable, patient and personable. We caught 3 large trout and the other group of 2 (who shared the boat) caught another 2 trout. There were enough rods for all 4 of us and Ash taught us how to use all of the gear. We were also able to keep our catches (you can keep 2 per person on the NZ day fishing license) and Ash even helped to gut them on the boat so we could easily BBQ back at the camp. This was the best tour we did whilst in NZ and I would recommend to everyone! Thank you to Ash for an awesome trip.
Ash was extremely friendly and patient with all the queries we had. And it was obvious that he had a passion and deep knowledge about fishing and was very competent in guiding and facilitating our learning and experience.
