Climbing the Kilimanjaro is okay with the scenic route machame, me and my wife did a six days Kilimanjaro hiking with burigi chato safaris, everything was okay, kissing the barranco wall was my best moment, Thanks all who made all this possible
Hiking Kilimanjaro is not simple especially when you are not fit or your body can't change with change in altitude, I joined a group of 5 people to trek the Kilimanjaro but we summited 2 of us. Others suffered the mountain sickness, I recommend Burigi Chato Safaris for there care to clients as the other two gonna die if we haven't professional guide and safety equipments . But everything was play with our team.
I trekked the Kilimanjaro by machame route, as it was a matter of reaching the top of the Kilimanjaro, I made it . if you have a good time and you fit you summit, may be if it comes you suffering with a mountain sickness. Believe you can
We did a city tour around moshi, moshi town is beautful we visited the town and the bush, it was a whole day tour. Some places we did walking especially the town tour. Every was okay we really loved the tour.
. I woke up early and we went to the office for departure. I was met with a guide and the entire crew who drove to the gate and after check in we started walking up the mountain slwly. The day we nt to the summit after very few hours of sleep. It was dark and I advice that you climb on full moon as we did try to do this and were met with a giant darkness and the experience at this level was not so good because of this. Thanks to the head lamps of which you need to take more than one battery incase it is out. I am glad I got to the summit during sunrise. No feeling of time when you are there at the top and you see the sunrise I am glad I chose this experience as it gave me a sense goal getting and winning mindset.
We visited Tanzania to Trek the Kilimanjaro. After reading numerous reviews we decided to book with Burigi Chato Safaris. I only can find good things to write about this company as they have a very well organized stuff. Special thanks to Shabani our guide who together with other things he took a very good care of us as I got sick from mountain fever and was able recover and be okay for the hike.
Someone I knew told me about his good experience with Burigi Chato Safaris. Because of their affordable rate we chose them. We were very happy with our guide and the entire crew. The crew kept us motivated to get to the summit. Porters were good and fit we arrived at the camps to find that our tents are already affixed. When we were exhausted and felt the AMS there was a first aid treatment that we were given and help that helped us to summit.
After safaris at various locations in Tanzania, I put Moshi at the top of the list for multiple reasons. The variety of Day trips is better, the Hotels are generally more consistently nice with reasonable prices, and even the staffs are nicer. It's an amazing place that is unlike anywhere else in Tanzania.
