3 Days Nyerere NP [Selous GR] Game, Walking and Boat

Fantastic experience! The guys picked us up at our hotel and took us to the airport. From there we landed directly inside Nyerere Park. We visited the park both in the morning and in the evening. They offered us an excellent lunch in total relaxation. Really Super recommended

We have just got back from an amazing safari / trip with this company!!!! From initial contact with the Jacob via email it was totally seamless .... Collection by Mr Nurdin at our hotel to airport transfer was completely private along with the tour. We had a safari jeep to ourselves, unlike others we saw that were "full" and seemed cramped Our guide 'Mr Maarufu' was superb - nothing was a problem for him and he made sure we got close to the animals but was respectful and always kept the animals feeling safe. His knowledge was outstanding, a really really nice man. The lodge which we had chosen to stay at was Selous Impala, it was very comfortable and luxurious, All the staff were very friendly. 5* Luxury We would highly recommend Smile with Us tours - 5* company Jacob and Maarufu made the whole trip amazing!!

Leaving in June 2023, we had an excellent time with your team, from start to finish! First, with Omary, very friendly and a very good driver. It allowed us to meet children for the school supplies that we had brought, to enjoy the country thanks to the 5-hour car ride to go to the mainland, to observe the magnificent animals of the Nyerere park (zebras, leopard , elephant, impala, baboons, hyena, giraffe, crocodiles, hippos...), we saw very few tourists, it was great thank you very much! And he helped us a lot with the ferry! Then, Mickaël, our French-speaking guide, perfect too! Very kind, attentive, he explained to us very well the life of animals and men in Tanzania, we met the villagers for supplies thanks to him, great time! There was also Abdul the driver of the safari boat, nice too! Then Didi the bushman gave us a great demonstration of jungle plants, he’s funny! The Selous is magnificent... The accommodation was also very good, the restaurant staff chat easily and are always smiling and attentive, and the Maasai are good handymen to repair our broken sandal, and are also very friendly! I went on a solo safari trip with Smile With Us Tours in January 2023. The experience was super from the beginning to the end. Everything was very well organized to meet my wishes, and I felt so taken care of from the moment I was picked up from my hotel in Zanzibar. At arrival in Nyerere National Park (the plane landed while giraffes and other exotic animals were walking by the runway!), I was met by the most welcoming and genuine guide, Eric. He made sure I had many moments I will remember for life during my two days game drive with him. He put in all his effort to find the animals, we got up really close with them, and he was full of knowledge. I saw hippos, lions, zebras, elephants, African wild dogs, hyena, buffalos, crocodiles, giraffes, warthogs, baboons, black face monkey, impalas, waterbuck, wildebeest and more. I am so thankful for everything he did for me to give me the best experience possible. I also did a safari walk and a river safari where I got to see even more animals, birds and learned about animal tracks, herbs, plants and trees, and about surviving in the wilderness. My accommodation during my stay was at Selous Jimbiza Camp. Here I was met by a very welcoming staff. I was treated as a queen, the food was great, the crocodile and elephant bread the chef made were impressive, and I felt safe both day and night. I totally recommend Smile With Us Tours, and would love to go on a tour with them again!

The safari days in the Nyerere park were way above my expections! We saw so many animals (18 lions of which 3 were very young cubs, tens of elephantes, huge amount of hippos, over hundred zeepras, tens of giraffes, 1 hyena, several diff types of antilopes, tens of pumbas, big herd of buffaloes, diff birds, tens of crocodiles, diff monkeys, etc) ! And what was very suprising we saw them very close (some were only 2m away but we felt safe!). Animals were not afraid of us in the big car and that allowed us to approch the animals. We had a very good guide Eric who knows so much about the animals and the nature. I kept asking so many questions and he was happy to answer them all and more. This is the type of guide that everyone should have! You can tell that he loves the animals and the nature and telling stories of them. He was always in time which we (too much) time oriented people appreciate. If we had any additional request he was happy to help us out. I wish him all the best in the future! May your dreams come through! If I could do something differently, I would first have the boat trip (sun set was beautiful) and the Bushman walk, and then go for safari. Safari days were so impressive, climax of all, so that could be saved for last. We were not looking for exlusive accommodation since we only slept&ate there, so the camp and huts were really good for our purpose: good beds, good level of hygine, good showers, good food and a bar with cold beers. All staff members were friendly and customer oriented. Big thanks to them! We were a group of 3 adults (family 30-55y) and had a private safari car just for the three of us. I recommend this if you like to do things on your own rythm. We were watching the huge amount of diff animals coming to drink for a good long moment, meaning as long as we wanted. This would have not been possible with others in the car wanting to rush forward. I fell in love with the nature and animals in Tanzania! I hope I can come back one day. We were picked up promptly at our hotel on Zanzibar. The luggage we didn't need during the Safari was kept free of charge at the office. We had a private flight to Nyerere and a large private Safari jeep with guide and driver. Full days made in the beautiful park. Very friendly people. Good overnight camp and delicious and more than enough food three times a day. Game drive and boat Safari top, Bush walk was a bit disappointing. But overall fat satisfied. Also private flight back and the taxi was ready with our luggage.

My best friend and I did the 3 day Safari tour in Nyerere National Park last march. Even though it's supposed to be the beginning of rain season we were really lucky with the whole trip and the weather. The advantage of the rainy season is that nature was reaaally green and we were pretty much the only tourists in the whole national park. Our tour guide Mr Msese was very kind, who tried everything to make our safari trip as beautiful and comfortable as possible. He was really the most warm-hearted and caring guide we could have asked for - just like the whole team of the camp. The camp itself is so beautiful and with so much love and attention to every detail. The food was also very good and they did everything to make our stay as nice and comfortable as possible. Thank you again Smile With Us Tours Africa - for the most beautiful safari trip we could have imagined!! We definitely will be back some day. 100% recommandation!

We had a great time in the middle of the savannah. The transfer went very well, 50min flight from Zanzibar and 10min drive to the camp. Our guide for the safari was really good, he had experience and he was passionate. This is an unforgettable experience!

We loved our time with ‘Smile with us Tours’. We were with four friends and had a great trip. Msese was our guide, and he did whatever was needed to make us enjoy every moment and feel great and safe. He showed us all good places, and he knew Nyerere Park very well. He brought us to places where nobody else went because our 4x4 car was strong, and he knew the car very well. The communication with Jakub, the owner of the company, went nicely. He gave us a reasonable price. Much better than other companies. We met people in the lodge that went with other companies. They paid more for the same lodging. Also, the car we had was much better than other safari companies were using. All in all, we loved it, and we would advise everyone to work with Smile Tours. Thanks!
