Take a beautiful country ride of 8 -10 hrs from Entebbe or Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forested National Park, home of Mountain gorillas in south Western Uganda, Where 47% of the remaining mountain gorillas in the whole world are found, the best spot for mountain gorilla trekking in the whole world. You will be guided to a selected gorilla family, gorilla excursion can take from 2 to up 8 hours, physically good condition is highly recommended.

Our Uganda Gorilla Safari guide will meet you and brief you about your tour. You will later be driven in comfortable and secure touring vehicle to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the south-West of Kampala. Stop-over at the Equator for photographic opportunity as well as an enjoyable and informative talk. There is an experiment done here to prove to you that it is surely the equator. Have Lunch in en route and then proceed through the Kigezi Highlands a scenic drive! You will continue through the banana plantations and then you reach the views of the great Virunga volcanoes of Rwanda and the Congo as well as heads of Ankole long horned cattle then to the biggest Home of mountain gorillas which is the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.accompanied by a guide and trackers, in search of a mountain gorilla family. The walking can sometimes be tough and long, but when you catch a glimpse of the magnificent silverback, any discomforts will be quickly forgotten. When sighted, visitors will be guided to within 6 metres from the mountain gorillas, sit around them for a whole hour while gazing into their big round eyes. Gorilla trekking is unpredictable.

I booked my trip late and the other companies all cancelled my reservations, saying there are no permits. But this operator was able to get a permit for me, and was also very flexible making modifications based on my request. Very happy with this operator, highly recommended! The gorilla tour itself was magical, you go through a dense forest, accompanied by an armed ranger who cuts the trail for you with a machete. Then, suddenly, you hear and see the gorillas. You get to spend an hour with them, as they chill, move around, play and chew on the vegetation. Absolutely loved it. At some point, the silverback passed half a meter away from me.

The trip was amazing. Uganda is really pearl of africa . Unique chance to see gorillas, many animals in Lake Mburo National Park, comfortable weather, friendly and supportive people everyday and everywhere, delicious food . Yeah my dream come true. Uganda, wait for me .I'll be back !

After a few days of searching in Kampala for this type of tours, I received the recommendation of this agency. They immediately made suggestions for tours and accommodations and processed my permits in the National Park on the same day. My driver Dan was an excellent host and safe driver. Always with a smile and kindness he drove me safely along the Ugandan roads, which he knows very well. The selection of accommodation was outstanding. Dan's friendliness also meant that he was well received in all the places he visited. For a solo traveler unfamiliar with the culture, the efficiency of Gorilla trekking is a guarantee to enjoy the trip, as I did.

Had the most amazing experience!! Dan was absolutely wonderful, super knowledgable and fun to be around.
