This was just an all around excellent experience. We had a well equipped and comfortable vehicle but the quality of the guide/driver, Gabriel and the cook, Apollo, were outstanding. Gabriel has laser eyes and picked out things no-one else has seen and on the first day, the find of the cheetah and her 5 cubs at a kopje was a real joy. No other safari trucks to be seen, so we had that experience to ourselves thanks to Gabriel’s sixth sense that “something” might be there! In addition his knowledge of all the bird life was first class. I’d recommend this company to anyone thinking of going on a safari here and if you get Gabriel and Apollo you can’t go wrong, although no doubt the rest of their staff will be first class as well.
Thank you very much for your fantastic review! We believe that the driver is essential to any safari. To provide the finest experience for our clients, a professional guide with extensive knowledge and experience of our park and wildlife is required, and Tecomate Tours has them. Our team is overjoyed that we were able to meet your safari needs and that you have created lifelong memories as a result. Thank you so much for your recommendations; we would love to host you again in the future. cheers
Thanks to the very competent team at Tecomate Tours, we were able to absolutely enjoy our private camping safari to the south of the Serengeti and the Nogoronoro. This was mainly due to the very good booking and advice, the personal preliminary discussion the evening before the safari and the qualified guide and cook who accompanied us. We felt very safe the entire time and received a lot of background information (information about the landscape, culture, history and of course the animals and animal behavior), no questions were left unanswered. Last but not least, we were impressed by the always fresh and absolutely delicious food from Hermann our chef. He always made sure we were okay! Gabriel, our guide, demonstrated a perfect eye for sightings, routes and great photo spots throughout. The great team of guides and cooks created a very pleasant atmosphere and accompanied us throughout the entire time in a very friendly, humorous manner and with a very good knowledge of the German language. Together we coordinated the day's planning, taking all of our wishes into account. During the safari we took enough time to observe the animals. It was also important to us that all of the equipment was very well maintained (Toyota Landcruiser with a very good engine and options for charging technical equipment) and clean. We left the safari with a huge backpack of memories and thousands of photos, as well as the desire to come back. Thank you for this special time, we would love to go on safari with you again!
Thank you so much for such a thorough and good review. Your response is a result of "when we promise to provide, that is what we mean."
