3 Days 2 Nights Travel package to Aswan & Luxor from Cairo by flights

We actually took the four day and three night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. We enjoyed the ship which was the Nile Story and our guide Hassam. The cruise included a balloon ride in Luxor on our last day which was fantastic! Very good value and the fact that our group is only six people made it more intimate and special.

If you are unsure whether to book with an Egyptian tour operator, then read this. Basically, you have 2 options. Book at a local tour operator (UK in our case), and pay full price, or go via an Egyptian operator and you can pay significantly less. We always wanted to go to Egypt to do a Nile cruise and see the temples, but you hear of so many horror stories of tour operators saying one thing and doing another. Even when my wife started to email Imperial Egypt, I was still sceptical and worried of what we were going to get. Well, I am happy to review that we had the most magical experience, and Imperial Egypt are brilliant. They always replied promptly to our emails pre-travel and Mostafa, our guide, was amazing. Mostafa was with us on every tour, explaining what was going on at each temple, but still gave us plenty of time and space to do our own thing, and if you don’t mind getting up a bit earlier than usual, you can have the temple pretty much to yourself. His knowledge of the locals came in handy too, giving us advice and help on how, and for how much, to buy things. Our ship, the MS Royal La Terrasse, whilst an older one, was well maintained. The rooms were spacious and had a little balcony, which was so nice just to relax on watching the desert go by. The crew were friendly and the food was good too, with good variety and choice every night. We will be going back to Egypt to do another Nile cruise, and we won’t be booking with anyone else other than Imperial Egypt. We got excellent value for money for what we paid and I highly recommend them.

The cost is excessive. Flight information very limited, almost secret. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE TICKETS, the guides send you to line up at the ticket office to pay your ticket, NEVER. We stopped for breakfast, they also charged us for the food. It really ONLY includes accommodation, plane, transfers and guide. Incredible places, but be prepared to be hungry and very sleepy.

BUYER BEWARE! I booked my reservation 3 months in advance and they cancelled my cruise booking 5 days before it left. The reason I was given was that they found a private group willing to pay more. Bad business practices. I have non refundable flights and hotels. They have ruined my vacation.

We had a lovely experience - despite the scorching weather in August, both our tours in Aswan and Luxor were well-tended. Mustafa is very kind to take care of us although we had a different journey from the rest of the group and Mido is the most knowledgeable tour guide ever and has told us so much about the history and interesting facts of Luxor. Really recommend this trip!

We had a fantastic time crusing on the MEDEA on the Nile. The staff, the boat, the food was really great! Hani our guide shared with us his knowledge of the Ancient time. A very nice experience, I highly recoomend!

We just returned from an excellent tour with Imperial Egypt. From the get go, the tour coordinator Hany was incredibly responsive and helpful. I feel like I asked a million questions, but he was always patient and prompt in responding. There was some slight confusion in the middle of our tour, but working with Hany we were able to get things cleared up quickly and easily. He even upgraded our rooms free of charge - it was a wonderful surprise! There's so many wonderful things to be said about our tour guide Mostafa Molattam - he was incredibly knowledgeable (we had loads of questions throughout the duration of the tour, but he was always quick and detailed in answering), warm and truly a joy to be around. It felt much more like hanging out with an incredibly informed friend than a tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him over the three days. He really went above and beyond to make sure we saw and did everything we wanted to, even though the tour is pretty packed already. We hope our paths cross again! Overall a wonderful company to book with. If you are a planner like me, these are your people. They are prompt, organized and really try hard to make sure you can see as much as possible in a short amount of time. We hope to return without having to rush in the future, but very grateful for our time spent with Imperial Egypt.

I booked our 4 days cruise through the company and they were very helpful in answering all our questions and give all the help we needed during the cruise. Our guide: Abdulhadi was amazing guide, shared lots of info with us, very useful hints and tips, he was very caring and friendly. Also Mr, Hani our main focal contact foe the whole trip. I strongly recommend them if you are planning any trip to Egypt, especially Luxor & Aswan as we enjoyed all the activities they arranged for us, especially the hot air ballon.

We had a wonderful 3 night, 4 days cruise with private tours around the temples and sights from Aswan to Luxor, and Abu Simbel. It was non-stop sightseeing -Abu Simbel, Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Luxor, Valley of the Kings (Hatshepsut's site & more. The highlight was our tour guide Mostafa Molattam who was with us for the entire trip, from picking us up at the airport in Aswan, to drop off at Luxor. ​He was passionate, kind, friendly, and extremely accommodating. He is very knowledgeable and his English is very good. We learned so much during our 4 day tour and he was open to many questions. He was available 24/7 for any of our needs. It was lovely to have him stay on the ship for the duration and are therefore ready to initiate each day trip before breakfast. We could not have been given better service. The cruise organised by the company, Imperial Egypt, was very comfortable. The ship, Jaz - Crown Jubilee was in good condition and the services of the staff, facilities and rooms were clean and excellent. The food on the cruise was very good, rooms were clean, beautiful view from the top of the ship which had a pool and bar. Also, beautiful view from the room windows. The staff was very attentive and very friendly. Hany the tour operator is also very professional and kept in touch with us by WhatsApp. Mostafa is a trained Egyptologist, and the passion he has for his job is apparent, whether describing the battle scenes depicted on the outside wall of the temples, or when deciphering the hieroglyphics to tell the stories of Kings, Pharaohs and Gods. An awesome experience to hear the history from someone like him. In addition, Mostafa attended to our every need effortlessly and proactively. Transportation was very comfortable and always there waiting. Mostafa was accommodating, and is very caring that is above and beyond his job requirements, whether recommending local food, arranging PCR tests, arranging to load my phone with mobile data, exchanging currency, nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this tour option and requesting Mostafa as the guide! We felt like we had a friend who could help us with all we needed and not just our tour guide. The Nile River cruise exceeded our expectations. Loved it! All in all, the experience with Imperial Egypt was excellent!

From start to finish our trip with Imperial Egypt had 0 issues. We booked directly through the Imperial Egypt site, and Hany was extremely prompt with his emails and follow-up. We had questions answered and the booking completed within 2 days. We made it a point to book directly with operators since we know how much the country has been impacted by the loss of tourism dollars, and wanted to make sure they received every cent. We had a great guide for our entire trip. Hady is knowledgable and funny! He made our trip very enjoyable. He explained all things about Egyptology to us, and has a thorough background of information since he went to school for it. And he was always on time! We definitely recommend that you ask for him as a guide! Our driver was also fantastic. We felt safe with him navigating us through our sites. We were driven from Aswan to Luxor, which gave us an opportunity to really see the local areas. This was a great trip, and we recommend Hady and Imperial Egypt for you!
