Staff was very helpful and always friendly, breakfast was very manageable. Dinner was excellent..... in the description was nothing about the fact that the cruise ship is actually virtually not sailed at all and it is mainly anchored.... In addition, the two-night program includes three days, twice a kayak or swimming trip. So twice the same.... Unfortunately, it was still raining and there was no plan B. We were nevertheless told that we were going on a kayak or swimming trip.... We then cancelled this with the entire excursion troupe, a total of seven people, because we did not want to swim or kayak in the rain..... besides, the trip is a bit unrelaxed, as first announcements are already made about the meeting point via loudspeakers in the cabins at 6:30 am.... Since the cruise ship has quite grown-up people who would probably be satisfied if you were provided with a flowchart that they would show up on time. So you wouldn't have to make announcements over a loudspeaker at 6:30 in the morning..... or other suggestion would be to sign up for a list the night before. We had actually decided not to take part in one of the excursions due to the bad weather, but were still woken up by the loudspeaker announcement and afterwards there was also an additional knock on the door..... is not possible!
We booked 2 tours with Crossing Vietnam Tours, one to Ha Long Bay and one to Sapa. We really recommend to take the 2 nights cruise to discover Ha Long Bay without being with the crowd of tourist coming for a day tour. Our trip to Sapa was excellent! Amazing accommodation with an incredible view, we also recommend to try out the cable car to Fansipan or if you like hiking try to reach the summit with a 2 days hike(with good equipments). Overall amazing experience and Lucy from the office in Hanoi was incredibly helpful and always reachable! Thanks to the whole team!
