We were delighted to travel to the northern less discovered part of Vietnam. There are a lot of gorgeous caves and amazing waterfalls. We visited several villages of ethnic groups to see first hand how they live. We were amazed at what we saw. The mountains are lush and beautiful and the scenery like none other. It was a fantastic trip. We extended to four days which I highly recommend. Our driver and guide were two of the best. They made sure we were comfortable and they were very concerned that we were having a the experience we wanted. They were top notch! I would recommend this trip to anyone who really wants to see the real Vietnam. Fantastic!! Thank you to our guide Alex, he was so knowledgeable and attentive.
This excursion was unforgettable! Mr. Giang, our guide, was great, he was well-versed in the indigenous way of life. When my husband felt ill during the trip, Mr. Giang was very gracious to look after us and was flexible and helpful in re-arrangin the routes so that we could come back to the homestays early while still seeing as much as possible. Mr. Duc was a fantastic driver. He was fantastic with us, constanly stopping to see sights and view, and we always felt safe.
We were lucky to have Mr. Lee as our guide for out 7-day loop trip to Ha Giang, Ban Gioc Falls, Cao Bang and Ba Be Lake. He was incredible, the best guide ever: kind, patient, humorous, and well informative. He provided us with the opportuinity to meet individuals from several ethnic villages and learn more about their culture. We also thank our driver - Mr. Duc who did a great help to safety transfer us to Hanoi to these isolated locations, along the Chinese border, and to enjoy numberous wild and stunning views. furthermore, the homestays and hotels were all best chosen. We really appriciated !
We had a great time with our guide Linh form Bamboo Advantures Vietnam on our excurision to Ba Be Lake and Ban Gioc Waterfall. The scenery was beautiful, and the Linh was clearly passionate about his country. The excursion is a long drive from Hanoi, making it less commerical compared to Sapa, Halong Bay. Because it is not overrun with tourists, the neighborhood retains its uniqueness. We had planned to do three-day trip, but Jack from the office advised me to extend it to four days in order to fully visit the regions. And he gave us sound advice. Thank you very much!
The trip to Ba Be lake and Ban Gioc falls was one of our best time during our trip to Vietnam. The regions are truly unexplored and less-touristy. We had a lifetime opportunity to enjoy the nature and stay with local ethnic Tay and Nung minorities. Everything was perfectly organized. Our guide Minh was the best who took great care of us and showed us everything about the places with stories that we may never know if we didn't do the trip. In my opinion, if anyone would like to do this trip, you should expand to 4 days to enjoy more and cut short the driving because it is such a long way, and a little in rush for 3 days. However, overall, the trip is worth doing when you travel to Vietnam but are in short of time.

Very fun trip to Ban Gioc waterfall with Son from Bamboo Adventures Vietnam. Son was very caring, speak excellent English and he knew everybody in the local areas we visited, which help us to connect with them. We love so much the local lives and the breath-taking landscape in Ban Goc waterfall area, as well as the rural peacefulness in Ba Be Lake. Highly recommended this trip and Son as tour guide
