3 Day 2 Night Trek

Description
This is a once in a lifetime experience, that will stay with you forever. You will be accompanied by one (or more) of our expert English-speaking native local guides who have so much knowledge about Sapa, the surroundings, its' history, culture, and the different tribes. We avoid other tourist routes, enjoy Sapa & the ancient tribal culture, craftsmanship and the breath taking rice fields. Stay the night in homestays & enjoy wifi & hot showers, or stay in an authentic local house with a local family. Huddle round an open fire, with rice wine and local delights. Spend time chatting and getting to know your host family. You’ll be surprised by the wonderful effect a “back to basics” lifestyle (even for a couple of days) can have. And by booking with Sapa Tribal Trekking, you are giving back to the local H’mong guides and the local people, giving them opportunities to earn a fair wage, which in a region where 70% of the population is below the poverty line, is desperately need.

A very nice trek, exotic and resourceful... despite an average weather (foggy and cool), compensated by the warmth of the welcome and the attention of our guide to adapt the program according to our wishes. Many very informative exchanges with our guide on the customs of the different ethnic groups of the region etc... So, one piece of advice: go ahead with your eyes closed and enjoy!
We had a wonderful 3 days exploring the farms, villages and homes outside Sa Pa. Giang was great company and had good rapport with my 12 year old daughter as well as me. She was happy to discuss everything from farming to local government to family relationships so I learned heaps and gained insight into the area. Giang was also very flexible- changing plans at short notice to suit our interests and energy.
This was an amazing trek that I wished never ended. Giang was so helpful. She offered suggestions on how to get to Sapa from Hanoi. She arranged a taxi to pick me up from the bus office and for luggage storage. She provided me with so much insights to her culture and traditions and could even identify various plants and herbs along the way and explain their various usage. The homestays were lovely. There was always so much food and with a great variety. I was so well fed through out. The scenery was breathtaking and I hardly ever saw a single tourist throughout. If you are looking for an off the beaten path experience - this is it!
Wonderful trek. Amazing and knowledgeable guide. Great food. Outstanding scenery. Everything about our trek was perfect.
3 wonderful days with Giang, who entertained, informed and looked after us well despite the fog and rain. She was very communicative and we learned so much about the country and its people. We are fans of Vietnam, but even more of a fan of Giang. Thank you for the time we spent together. Olaf
Go!go!go! Giang shows you her breathtaking home and shares all her knowledge and personal story willingly in great English! She is fun and good natured! Also you support small Vietnamese homestays and she is self employed instead of employed by a European owned company., The trek was beautiful! I would go anywhere with her!!!
Our 3 days trekking through Sapa with our guide Giang was an absolute delight. The trekking was hearty (Giang let's you choose how tough or easy you want it), the views breath-taking and the homestays a little slice of idyllic rural life. We highly recommend it to any travellers wanting to take a break from the busy cities and get to meet some of the people of Vietnam. You get fed VERY well: big portions at every mealtime, prepared for you by the locals (they easily accommodated our vegetarian needs). The homestays are very comfy with big rooms and hot showers. And Giang looks after you all the way, both helping you arrange your travel to get there, but also guiding you along the mountainside and informing you about the people and the nature as you go along. Do it. You won't regret it. Thank you Giang!
We had the most wonderful trekking experience in the SaPa mountains thanks to Giang and her family. She was a delightful and knowledgeable guide, pitching the routes and timings to our requirements. Her niece's Zo and Ma, guided and hosted us respectively on day one for a homestay in a Hmoung village. A real opportunity to immerse oneself in their culture and to enjoy their generous hospitality. Day 2 was equally rewarding with a trek further along the valley to spectacular waterfalls and through villages and hamlets to our second night homestay with Jai and her family where we received an equally warm welcome. Indeed, Giang had organised a surprise birthday cake for Nicky which was enjoyed by us and the other guests staying at the homestay. Day 3 involved a shorter trek through spectacular bamboo forests and villages before returning to SaPa for the next stage of our Vietnam holiday. If you do one thing in northern Vietnam then we would highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed. We have many fabulous memories of our trip with Giang which we will treasure, until the next time!
Our trek was amazing! Giang and Lang were both so helpful in organizing and guiding us on our tour respectively. They were so knowledgeable about the area and helped to pick the best route for us. The views on the trip were amazing and it was beautiful to be able to see a different side of Vietnam!
Toan led us through an incredible 3D/2N trek through Sapa and its villages. Along the way, he was so happy to share so much interesting history and info about life in Vietnam. We had so much fun getting to know him and his flexibility and care for us along the way made our trek incredible. It is so eye opening to see the lives of the traditional villages up close, and we would not change a thing on our tour. The homestay allowed us to get to know such a different view of Vietnam. We saw so many animals and beautiful bamboo forests. This company sets up a great tour, with delicious food and drink spots along the way - HIGHLY recommend on your Vietnam itinerary. I found Toan and the company really cares about how your trek goes, and makes sure its tailored to your likes and that you walk away happy. Couldnt say more positive things definitely choose sapa tribal trekking!!!
