3/4 Day 7 Hour Offshore Fishing Charter

Best charter ever the crew was fantastic they were very friendly and fully experienced, and the captain knew where all the fish were.

I would imagine with the correct weather conditions this would be a great experience and I had booked this for our family to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were notified th day prior that the company had cancelled all the deep sea charters booked for the Sunday. I enquired of the organiser on the phone (as we were not local to the area) if there were any boating and fishing hire options along the Noosa river that would be available, he informed me that the river was murky but yes we would be able to hire a small self manned boat and fishing gear for the next day but then suggested that if we are all 6 still keen to fish that he could arrange for his crew to take us just across the bar for some bigger fish options go a few hours and he would refund the difference. I asked directly if that would be ok given the weather and he said it would be fine and even suggested some inner reef options may be available too. He let me know that we would have the boat to ourselves. He let me know that he would work out a price based on how long we were on the water. We headed out just after 0800, the agreed time, and I was back to n my car at 1036 when my son messaged me to say that his car would not start, th key fob had gotten so wet in the rain on the boat. I had spent most of the trip vomiting as the conditions were so choooy and had been unable to fish. Another family member had also struggled for the whole of the trip and also unable to fish. On Wednesday I called the office and then made a written request for the refund of the difference to be actioned. I was then notified that I would be refunded $270 only. Our original trip booked to 6 people for 7 hours was $1770 fo th deep water fishing. They are now charging me $1500 for a “3hour private charter” at $509 per hour. Well we were not in the water for 3 hours. The crew were with us less than 2.5hours. We did not book a private charter in fact the company had cancelled all there other clients. The 2.5 hour fishing just over the bar at Noosa should certainly not be priced like that and I have raised my concerns with the company and had no response. The communication is poor and it is disappointing that they are trying to recoup their weekend losses from a family who genuinely enquired with them about available alternatives to what we had originally booked. I would have happily hired a river boat for the 6 of us for the same time at less than half th price and we would have enjoyed this much more as we would not have been in the awful choppy open seas that they deemed suitable for fishing on the day. Overall family time is always precious but the service from the company has been poor although the crew are n the day were great. The company has been very poor and we will not use them when visiting the area again. I would not recommend them. The crew even stated that the contingent get the deep sea bookings at this time of year due to the weather conditions. No one told us this earlier. Very disappointing service from Noosa Deep Sea Fishing unfortunately and very costly to us. Absolutely not worth the money we have spent.

My partner has been going on charters with Deep Sea Fishing Co. for the last several years and he wouldn't go with anyone else ( and he's pretty picky when it comes to fishing!) He's only ever had positive experiences and always comes home with lot's of fish! We are locals and can definitely recommend.

Great trip out with Clint and Jack. Boat was in excellent condition, skipper knew where to put us on the fish and wasnt afraid to move when they went off the bite, deckie very helpful and a bag out on Pearlies. Will defiantly be back and highly recommend

Clint the skipper and jack the decky were fantastic, good boat, good vibes. Good rods and well setup, will definitely book again.

Absolutely awesome day out on the water, the crew are legends, very helpful and have a lot of knowledge, can’t wait to get back out there.

Went on a 3/4 day charter with friends had a great time the staff were great & very obliging even saw a whale.Caught plenty of fish. Would highly recommend the 3/4 day as it gives you more time on the water &. relax and just enjoy the day in general.

I’ve been out a few times with deep sea fishing co. Clint and Lea made it such a good trip they really do run the best offshore fishing charter in town. Heaps of fish and a great time. cheers guys 👍🏼

Friends and I had a good day out with the friendly skipper and deckhand, looking forward to try a full day trip with Deep Sea Fishing Co Noosa for more jigging actions!
