My partner and I enjoyed this trip and saw many things. However, it was Cinnamon Island that I remember most vividly for the wrong reasons! It is a small island in the middle of the lake where they show you how they harvest cinnamon from the trees - all well and good. But it was the poor little black dog a walking skeleton of a dog, starving and gaunt which I remember most! I fed it some sausage I had in my bag which it loved, probably the only thing it had eaten in days. Being on a tiny island it couldn’t go off and forage elsewhere. So if you go on this trip where we saw eagles, a crocodile, shrimp traps, lizards etc please take some food for the little dog on Cinnamon Island, he needs it🤗
Retrieved as agreed and got a lot of information during our 2 hours long cruise. Both the guide and the boatmaster were very helpful. Can only say it was a super lovely morning trip
Guide was very good. Explained everything clearly. Good boat ride with view of mangroves. Not much wildlife to see. Good to see cinnamon cutting process and Buddha temple on the islands
