Description
Immersive tour with a local guide. Apart from the historical facts that you will learn, I also love talking about what it is like living in Luxembourg, what our culture, food, and politics look like, and why it’s simply one of the most multicultural countries in Europe. Discover the ancient city center with all of its major sightseeings, including the Palace of the Grand Duc, St Michael’s church, Cathedral Notre Dame of Luxembourg, Golden Lady, and many more.

We booked and prepaid a private walking tour in Luxembourg for EUR 280. The guide did not attend the scheduled tour and later advised that illness was the reason. No forewarning was provided (Roy Hoss was a no-show), no substitute guide, alternative booking date, or refund was offered. After unsuccessful attempts to resolve the matter directly, a complaint was filed with the Luxembourg's National Consumer Mediator Service. The mediator subsequently informed us that the case was closed because the provider declined to participate in mediation. Our experience was that we paid in full for a service that was never provided and we are unable to obtain a refund. We leave other travellers to draw their own conclusions.
Roy Hoss is a great organizer for tours of Luxembourg and surrounding area. I found his contact information online and, after communicating, he arranged a four day stay in Luxembourg with a wonderful city tour, an American Military Cemetery tour and a full day in the Bastogne area. His prices were reasonable and I could not have been more pleased with the experience.
