What an amazing 4th of July experience! Huge shoutout to Mathew, our bus driver, who made it a memorable experience and kept us laughing. The Verde River tube float was absolutely incredible. The water was warm, the river was surprisingly uncrowded, and the scenery was breathtaking. We loved the perfect mix of peaceful, relaxing stretches and a few fun, exciting moments along the way. To top it all off, ending the day at the winery was the perfect finish. They even had great gluten-free options, which we really appreciated! Overall, this was a 10/10 experience, and we'd absolutely do it again. Highly recommend
Super fun. Guide with the blue hair was super cool and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend! Will do again next visit to Sedona!
It was an adventure and we enjoyed it! Calm water, friendly staff and a visit to a local winery! Check it out!
This was a beautiful ride down the Verde River. Since I was solo, Scotty (guide) went with me & he’s an amazing human! Great way to spend a hot day in Sedona!
Great day! Very relaxing kayaking - floated most of the time. Beautiful scenery, so green. Definitely will do it again.
This is a must do excursion. The river is awesome with many small rapids. There are also narrowing areas where you could only go through single file which added to the charm of the river. Beautiful scenery. The winery was also amazing. The sangria was fantastic and do try some food as it is delicious. You will be very happy choosing this experience!
2/5 Stars: Fun activity, but poor communication and safety concerns While the kayaking was fun and the winery was a lovely stop (I especially appreciated their support for local animal shelters), the logistics were disappointing. We never met Scotty aka Young Jesus as advertised in their texts, and the photos they took of us at the beginning were very poor quality (didn’t matter to us in particular, but others might care). It seemed odd that no one communicated they wouldn't be there at the end to collect the equipment, leaving us to figure it out ourselves. Despite being a self-guided tour with absent hosts, we were bombarded with tip requests, receiving texts before and after specifying percentages, plus seeing multiple signs on-site. Furthermore, the transport van appeared to be missing a door, which felt very unsafe on public roads. It’s hard to justify tipping when the hosts are a no-show and safety feels like an afterthought.
The experience was great and I highly recommend this adventure. So much fun and our guide, Matthew was great.
Relaxing experience on the river, but I would have preferred if more than just the 20$ was towards wine tasting and food at the end of the experience. We were so worn out from the river we wished for the cost of both the kayaking and wine tasting was more evenly distributed. But overall it was a fun and relaxing experience.
Not difficult even if you have no experience on the water. The inflatable kayaks were easy to maneuver through mild rapids, the weather was great, and we enjoyed it thoroughly!
