Itinerary
Every spring and summer the four islands that make up the reserve become a nesting ground for approximately 4 million seabirds. Several different species that can be seen on the islands include: the second largest colony of Leach’s Storm-Petrel in the world (620,000 pairs), Common Murre, Razorbill Auk, Black-Legged Kittiwake, Great Black-backed Gull, Black Guillemot, Nothern Fulmar, Thick-billed Murre, and Herring Gull.

Saw lots of whales and puffins; the crew was great and lots of fun
We had a wonderful time with OBriens today. Tour guide Liam, Captain and all the crew were wonderfully engaging and friendly! We were lucky enough to see a pair humpbacks before we even left the harbour. Liam was so knowledgeable and entertaining (great singing voice!) he really made it an experience, not just a boat ride. Highly recommend.

This tour was excellent! From the guide's commentary to the captain's impressive skills, everything was extremely well done. We spent about an hour viewing a pair of whales off Gull Island, and enjoyed the experience immensely.
The boat tour was really fun. Noah was a great tour guide and we got to see puffins, whales, and dolphins even on a foggy day. It definitely won't be the case for everyone, but it was a great experience while in Newfoundland

They made everyone feel welcome and shared interesting facts while keeping the trip fun and engaging. Seeing the whales and puffins in their natural habitat was unforgettable, and the crew went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best possible experience. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!
Spectacular day where you could almost reach out and touch whales and birds. Professionally done with humour and wit, in a safe vessel with lots of comfort. The experience is always a luck of the draw event when it comes to weather and wildlife, but on this day, it could not have been better here or anywhere else in the world.
Lucky us the humpbacks put on quite the show! Barrel rolling, waving, and mist is all with their blow holes. The crew was great too - knowledgeable and funny.

What an incredible experience! Beautiful scenery, multiple whale sightings, and more puffins than I knew I needed in my life. 😂 The crew was knowledgeable, entertaining, and clearly loves what they do. One of the absolute highlights of our Newfoundland trip. If you’re considering booking, do it!
