Itinerary
Aperitif on the boat in front of Portovenere, waiting for the sunset. You will be able to take numerous photos of the picturesque houses of Portovenere, admire the majestic church of San Pietro and see the sun setting behind it
Tour of the Palmaria island. We will pass by the marble quarry, at the end. We will approach the Blue Grotto, famous for its crystal clear water and for the rocks which, when hit by the sun, seem to be coated in gold.
The island of Tino is a small, uninhabited island on which there is one of the oldest lighthouses still in operation. On the north side of the island we will see the remains of a Benedictine monastery and a WWII bunker. Going around the island of Tino, we will discover another small island, called Tinetto, partly submerged, in front of which stands, in the middle of the sea, the statue of the Madonna Stella Maris, protector of sailors and the inhabitants of the Gulf of Spice
We will approach the Byron Cave by boat, in the bay behind Portovenere, waiting for the sunset. This cave takes its name from the English poet Lord Byron, who used to swim there to meditate and seek inspiration to write his works
We will pass near Torre Scola, an ancient military fortress built in the middle of the sea on a submerged rock. Torre Scola was built in 1600 and was partly destroyed during the first Napoleonic war.

It was the best sunset of my life. Beautiful landscape. The music was Perfect and the food was incredible. The Boat is very comfortable and the captain Simone is very kind
We had a wonderful time aboard Simone's boat! Each couple had their own space to experience this tour in their bubble. A cultural trip thanks to the skipper's explanations, good music, a well-stocked aperitif, accompanied by drinks and above all an incredible sunset. Thank you again for this unforgettable evening!
The boat did not show up. We were very disappointed. This spoilt our trip and wasted our evening. We are out of pocket and upset
We had a great time with Simone very attentive and helpful. The course, the boat, the scenery, the sunset and the Italian specialities: everything was perfect. It will remain a wonderful memory of Spezia.
We had the most amazing night with the crew and guests on board! Luca was a fantastic skipper and host. We regret not asking his partners name, she was amazing! This excursion made our final of 5 nights in La Spezia, very special. We highly recommend this company and this excursion! 6 stars!!!
This experience was both relaxing and invigorating. The setting is so beautiful, and being out on the water is such an elemental experience. Simone was a wonderful host and his knowledge of the islands was fascinating. We stopped at a cove on Palmaria and he took our photos - such a perfect way to capture a perfect experience! I haven't seen my husband so carefree in a long time. Simone provided a generous spread of breads when we stopped at Portovenere at sunset - we couldn't eat it all and took it on our Cinque Terre hike the next day. We were staying in Portovenere so he dropped us off there. Before the cruise, we were shopping in La Spezia and he gave us shopping advice via WhatsApp. It was a fabulous experience and I would recommend it to anyone! We shared the boat with two other couples and a bachelorette party - how fun!!!
Beautiful tour in the awesome gulf of La Spezia! Very kind and prepared staff, good drink and tasty food. Really suggested if you want a very nice experience.
I made a booking in the morning for a sunset boat trip , got my confirmation . We were out all days visiting the town rushed back to head to the port for our 6.30 sunset cruise and I checked the directions to the port and noticed my booked was cancelled… No reason given. Extremely disappointed as I could have booked another boat tour and now too late as nothing available and we leaving La Spezia tomorrow. Do not use this operator
Yes. However, the reservation was cancelled immediately afterwards. The confirmation is done automatically the moment you book. 15 minutes after your reservation I noticed that we were overbooked and cancelled the reservation. The problem is not my cancellation (which happened at 9 a.m.) but the problem is that you did not look at your phone again before 6 p.m.
This was our favorite excursion yet. The guide was very personable, passionate and generous. The views were gorgeous and the information given on historical sites was captivating. I would 10/10 recommend this if you are in the area. There was also great music and drinks throughout the ride.
Enjoy couple of hours on the boat with information on the local area, good tunes and excellent hosts. A couple of drinks, a bite to eat and a laugh with everyone on board.
