2 hour Extended Ghost and Haunt Tour of Gatlinburg

Description
Walk the back roads of Gatlinburg and learn about its haunted history and folklore on this nighttime tour. With a guide, you'll learn how you, too, can capture paranormal photos. Use ghost-hunting equipment like you see on tv to potentially communicate with ghosts along the way. The tour is an outdoor walking tour as such there is plenty of room for social distancing and masks are optional, It is wheelchair and stroller accessible and service animals are allowed. Unfortunately, due to the late completion time, the Trollys don’t run that late but we do offer free parking and of course, taxis and Uber, Lyft are available. The walk is about one mile all on flat paved ground spread out over 2 hours with lots of stops so a messy relaxing walk but no places to sit or restrooms are available during the tour. This is not a private tour groups can be as large as the upper 20’s in the busiest times but average in the high teens to low 20’s.

Very disappointed in this tour. It was boring and the tour guide was not very knowledgeable about the history. We did a 2-hour extended tour and heard one ghost story. We were given investigation tools that the guide failed to even talk about. He kept saying he did his research and all other tours are full of crap. The guide talked more about himself than the ghosts and insulted our state, his boss, and prominent figures who contributed to the development and tourism of the Smoky Mountain area. We could not wait for the tour to be over, and everyone pretty much split and ran to their cars as soon as we returned to our meeting location. The highlight of the tour was seeing a bear. Would not recommend this tour, a complete waste of money and brain cells.
This was a great tour. We've been on many ghost tours, and this one was excellent. Pete, our guide, was a great storyteller which makes for a great tour.
Great experience!! Had a lot of fun! Mark was awesome!! Hes super knowledgeable and experienced..and ladies...he's hot too!! 😉 I would highly recommend going!!!
This was a fun outing. Two hours went by fast. Mark was a great guide. Very informative and good historian. It was our family of 4 and another group of 10. Side note: Bring a few bucks to tip your guides!
It was a fun activity during the evening when it was not as hot. It was fun to get to use ghost hunting equipment. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We also saw a bear!
Our guide Pete was great he was fun to talk to and very informative and knowledgeable. While we were waiting to start we were showing him some evidence we had collected from our hometown and getting his opinion on it. I would definitely recommend this to people into spooky stuff to real paranormal investigators or even people who just want to hear about alittle dark history (FYI the tour is kid safe). The only other thing I could say is wear comfy shoes to walk in because It is around a mile total up and down little hills and streets. The only other thing I could say is have fun and Good Luck!
I booked this ghost tour through Viator, where it was originally listed for 7:00 PM. Before the tour, the operator contacted us to change both the day and the start time, which made the experience feel disorganized from the beginning. Unfortunately, the tour itself did not improve our impression. The guide spent much of the time telling long stories that often did not connect clearly to the purpose of the tour or to the locations we visited. The content lacked the historical or paranormal detail we expected and did not feel especially engaging or informative. In addition, the guide spoke very quietly, making it difficult for our group to follow along. Ultimately, our entire group lost interest and decided to leave before the tour ended. We were hoping for an entertaining and well-structured experience, but this one did not meet expectations.
As I told you on the phone, we do not have a 7 o’clock tour. It is possible that someone at Viator got confused due to the fact that our start time in November and December is 7 o’clock. We did change the date due to weather that is true as for the content of the tour we have over 1000 5 star reviews and this is this guides first bad review. Most people seem to like it. I am sorry you were disappointed.
Absolutely loved it. Got some really good history on Gatlinburg and even got to go to a cemetery. The guide was very knowledgeable and I loved that we got to play with the equipment. I wish I would have seen some entities on the way however it was still fun to do. Wear your walking shoes
I’ve done a couple ghost tours and this is the best one so far. Mark was a great tour guide. We learned about some Gatlinburg history and got to use some ghost hunting equipment. The kids had a blast which was the main thing. The actual walk was easy and we got to stop by a cemetery to try and connect with the spirits. Overall fun experience and would recommend.
We are on a family vacation and one of the things I wanted to do was a ghost tour. Mark exceeded all our expectations. He is an amazing story teller. He made sure we all understood how the equipment worked. He allowed us to go back and try to find more spirits after showing us how to do it. We highly recommend for people to do this tour with Mark. He is amazing!
